I have no problems with him being a genuine backup and I agree to an extent with what you're saying.

Is he being viewed as a backup though or is he viewed as a backman this year is what I'm questioning.

He is purely a swingman ......i'd suggest he;s playing permanently back to adjust to our new defensive process ....he's more than comfortable with the offense, nothing to learn there
