The midseason draft is for rookies I'm pretty sure. You have to fill all your senior list spots.

But we could still do what you're saying (and I think we will). Just need to move one of our rookies to the senior list.

He’s a 20 year old ruck not straight out of junior footy. If Chol played ruck this season than anybody is a chance, already got Chol covered and that’s just from a 5 min highlight package.

Like I said, can’t make sense of it unless he can play next year when we will have Soldo back following year and Mate the basketball kid already on books as a long term option? Seems over the top when RFC allegedly don’t rate ruck position highly. Could have selected many others instead that are not a pure ruck.

They would've picked him for a number of reasons that as fans we wouldn't even know.

Just checked the rules and we can elevate another rookie as long as it's done before tomorrow's drafts.

Other than that, we'll have to fill the spot in the PSD or sign a delisted FA.

What about the supplementary list? Is that only for rookies like we did with Stack?

Having a super strong hand in next years draft is critical for us to be able to stay at the top longer. For me trading out this year for a first rounder next year was the right strategy. Nextyears draft is deep and strong. We will get good players in next year.
