Olsen said this on 5 October 20024, "We’re in the final days of contract negotiations and should there be no impediments to that, I’d hope we’d be in a position to turn soil at Thebarton Oval in November".We were told soil turned in September. Now November. What is going on?

What it costs is largely irrelevant to whether we can legally start building or not.Rowey is breaking a story tomorrow on 5AA - waiting on confirmation. The construction cost is blowing out and assume the finance arrangements might be an issue now (gut feel).
Perhaps get ever member to donate $100 - would raise $6m.

We can't.
That's probably what the engineering and certification firms we've engaged had told him.Thought everything had been dealt with. What is outstanding?
Again, Olsen said first soil being turned was September, tomorrow is November and again
Without doubt the costs would have increased. I doubt the club would be asking for donations. Time will tell.Rowey is breaking a story tomorrow on 5AA - waiting on confirmation. The construction cost is blowing out and assume the finance arrangements might be an issue now (gut feel).

The club has been asking for donations for a while now. It's a key part of the funding.Without doubt the costs would have increased. I doubt the club would be asking for donations. Time will tell.
$100 each? The club has been asking for donations for a while now. It's a key part of the funding.
Not even close - they are targeting members with business ties, family money, etc. Not just us regular folk. My boss showed me the booklet. He passed.$100 each?
What do you get for it? A chance to sack Nicks? Not even close - they are targeting members with business ties, family money, etc. Not just us regular folk. My boss showed me the booklet. He passed.
Has anyone anywhere said that we don't have building consent? That's probably what the engineering and certification firms we've engaged had told him.
They've got planning consent which was a big deal, but building consent is another matter.
I've no doubt we are close, but there's a fair bit involved in building consent of a facility such as this. Where we were hamstrung was it taking so long dicking around with council to get the first bit done.
I'm a civil engineer by trade, I can tell you that I'd be shocked if we were digging ground before the new year.
