I'm expecting Clarko to be sacked the day before North's first match after a bombshell article is conveniently released

What happens if you get the spoon and win less than 5 games all year despite having less injuries than 2022?Won't be Simmo, not this year at least.
Club's acknowledged they're in a rebuild and that last year was essentially a write-off in regards to implementing a new game plan, due to injury/covid.
They've already backed him in for the rebuild, so unless there's a players' revolt, I can't see it happening.
Been a lot of admissions over the past few months from players, coaches & staff of training standards dipping, attitude, fitness, etc that were apparently addressed last year and over the break. This appears evident in the fact that despite the season WCE had last year, the club appears fully united and players look to have bought-in to whatever plan has been set.
I expect most fans to look forward to seeing the kids develop, now that the club's gone on record as stating the need for a rebuild and not a quick 'reset'.
I imagine this will earn Simmo significant reprieve to see out his contract, at the very least.
pretty solid Mr Bates and probably the more likely and very "results" basedVery safe:
Flags: C. Scott, Hardwick, Longmire, Goodwin,
Bevo (just signed extension)
1st year: B. Scott, Kingsley, R. Lyon, Clarkson*
Macrae - excellent first year
Mitchell - will get to year 3 regardless of results
On solid footing:
Longmuir - would face heat for a complete disaster but as little as 9+ wins with excuses sees him through and they should do that.
Voss - good first year minus the last 5 minutes in close games, would have to go backwards fast to not get a 3rd year
A few cracks:
Simpson - can see him jumping ship if it's a long rebuild, but otherwise should be allowed to start the build
Fagan* - done a fantastic job but he's 61, his sides have been found out in finals at times and he's out of contract, wouldn't be crazy if the Lions bought in a fresh voice. Bit of a Hinkley of the North without the same fan pressure.
Needing results:
Hinkley - right or wrong he's done if they don't finish top 4
Dew - has done a good job but if he went 6 years without finals and kept the job that would be somewhat incredible
Nicks - 4 years without finals would be the Adelaide equivalent of GC doing it for 6, has to at least be knocking on the door
Pretty sure I just explained everything in my post, if you bothered to read. What happens if you get the spoon and win less than 5 games all year despite having less injuries than 2022?
Looking at your draw, if you don't get a win in the first two weeks of the season the Owen jokes could make double figures and really turn up the heat. The pressure will be on him to get wins early before the harder teams start just to build confidence.
Even if Owen gets his license?Pretty sure I just explained everything in my post, if you bothered to read.
Don't think the club will make a call on his tenure just because some nuffies are making 'Owen' jokes on Bigfooty.
What about it? Highly doubt that will happen. If it does, refer to my post.Even if Owen gets his license?
I get the feeling Fagan is a terrible leader of young men from what I read in that Hawthorn report.I get the feeling Fagan is an excellent leader of young men, but the side probably needs a new coach to take a bit of a quantum leap from where they have now been for a few years.
Well erm, yes there's that.....I get the feeling Fagan is a terrible leader of young men from what I read in that Hawthorn report.
Is that still a thing?I get the feeling Fagan is a terrible leader of young men from what I read in that Hawthorn report.
Voss will be gone by June.Boy if Carlton miss finals again, Crazy Vossy will be looking over his shoulder.
Averages just 41% winning record or an average of 9 wins per season.
I wouldn`t be so sure...those admissions relate to standards slipping under his tenure..and the club are unlikely to put up with another big loss in profits...I think if decent improvement isn`t shown early this year then he could be on his way...Won't be Simmo, not this year at least.

I reckon there's every chance.Voss will be gone by June.
Disgraceful finals' miss last year with that list and draw.
Big loss in profits? We just had a record membership, in our worst ever season...I wouldn`t be so sure...those admissions relate to standards slipping under his tenure..and the club are unlikely to put up with another big loss in profits...I think if decent improvement isn`t shown early this year then he could be on his way...
So, another 20 years of irrelevancy from the Blues then?Voss will be gone by June.

You left out a zeroSo, another 20 years of irrelevancy from the Blues then?
Unbelievable huh??!!!Bump. Unfortunately Williams out with an ACL for the whole year.
