I had the pleasure of watching the GOAT live last night. Someone made the comp to Tom Rockliff, which only Lions fans may understand and which I think is a good one.

He had a dozen or so really good possessions but the rest were pure junk time stuff which didn’t help progress Collingwood at all. Demanding cheap sideways handballs or kicks and the wrap around on the mark.

If you strip away the junk he is on par with someone like Cheezles from North. He’s basically doing what you’d expect a top draftee to be doing.
this is gold coming from someone who supports a side with Cam Rayner in it.

He won Fadge's heart.
Maybe fadge awarded Nick the Fadgelow for best player 2023 .
The very same award that Kouta should have won in 2000 when brownlow favourite before he done his knee against Essendon only difference was that he still won the AFLPA award that year, nicks was just imagining

OP has now been updated with the Top 50 players I have seen and/or read about in the archives, and we'll tick off each of these players as Daicos' career surpasses them:

I just pissed myself laughing. Thanks. :tearsofjoy:

No, seriously though, good list in one respect.

Fadge's top 50 all time squib ratio: zero %, not one squib on the list.

Fadge's proposed players who are going to surpass his top 50 one by one squib ratio: 100%

I am so eager to see Fadge "tick off" squib Daicos "surpassing" the likes of Bob Skilton and Francis Bourke, lol.

He's not even top 200 he has to tick off those players first.
He has years to go to surpass a player like Koutoufides who isnt in his top 50. This is hilarious
Nick will be pushing shit up hill to be the best player in Collingwood’s history let alone the entire league

Amazing that this is the hill OP is willing to die on

Capital Hill. It's very Trump like with his statements
One question that needs to be addressed for mine is now in his 3rd year in the system has Nick actually improved as a player in any way?

They tried to start him in the midfield but 3 rounds in he has already been pushed back again

Where is the improvement coming from that will push him into Goat territory?
No doubt he’s a very highly skilled player and elite in a number of ways but every club has a handful of elite players

What will set him apart?

No doubt could improve his contested marking by actually taking one. :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

I love it how you set the terms for the top 50.
Just illustrates the point further how deluded you are.
How about a fact or two Fadge

Already Daicos can’t be the best ever second year player.

Tony Liberatore.
By the time Libba had played 37 senior games he had been awarded
U/19 BnF
Twice league BnF in the seconds.
Brownlow medal.

Tony Liberatore will always be regarded as achieving more than halfstepnick.
It’s a fact locked in history.

Libba debuted in the 1s at 20.5 years old and took a further 5 seasons to crack 20 senior games.
