Did Hawthorn, Carlton, Richmond or Melbourne tag Nicky in the 2nd half of the year? I'll give you a clue... the answer rhymes with GO
Oh Walshy. You don't want to be the guy who tells his grandkids that he thought Nick Daicos wasn't that good, because you favoured the Taylor Adams type.

We haven't seen a prospect like this before. On the inside he's got hands, awareness and vision like Diesel and Simon Black to set teammates up, with the dancing moves and acceleration to burst into the clear himself and on the outside he's already quite simply the best.

That doesnt suggest he gets a tag.

He gets tagged more than Cripps.

As I've mentioned in another thread, opposition coaches aren't sweating on Cripps as long as he does ineffective dump kicks out of congestion.

What you have to worry with Cripps is if he breaks tackles or he's elite handballs out of congestion. If you sweat on the handball receiver rather than Cripps, it's much more effective. You can't do this with Daicos.
