I agree that ch. 7 have probably made it out to be more than it actually is, however, if you are having any problems with your neck, back, head, etc, etc, then I really think you need to be pretty careful about how you go treating this injury, and if he needs some time off, then he should take it.

Hopefully there's nothing in it, he was looking set for his best season to date and it'll really hurt to lose him now. As J said, we've gotta look after his health and not play him if it is a bad neck - his health is much more important than him being on the field with something as serious as a neck injury.

until i hear officially that nick stevens is out, then all this is just hear say, so until then i will expect nick stevens to take his place against the eagles
well if the results of the scans is anything like Andrew Johns (rugby league) then obviously retirement is on the cards...

7.57 pm SEN's Beva's producer just off the phone from Carlton. Stevens trained this morning, had scans this afternoon and is expected to play against the Eagles. Career over.

Not good, from what i have heard he will be out for the year!
I'm pretty sure my news is correct as i would not doubt where i heard it from, seems to have come at a terrible time for Nick as he was looking evry bit as good as he ever has been. Although it is a major setback for him im positive that he will bounce back from it, which most likely will be next year. Shocking News

Funny how everyones opinions on Nick Stevens have changed since I joined Big Footy and kept an eye on this board...it's gone from one thread a week on how he's soft, doesn't care and should be dropped - to god awful fear he might be out for the season!!!!. Go Stevo!.
