GWS have super talent, but a horrible culture (very front running and selfish).
As we saw in the 'Making their mark' doco, Cameron is a terrible coach.

Funnily enough, I suspect that Nicks would be the perfect coach for GWS. He's excellent at getting the players on board, building culture and having them give 100%. The talent level would probably make up for his lack of tactical nous.

Could we give them Nicks now, leave Burns to coach the rest of the year and then add Clarkson as coach?

Leave me alone. I can dream.

May have been why they hired him in the first place. From what Nicks described, he was very much a "filter" for Cameron.

I bet Stuart Dew sleeps well tonight ;)

North fans would have to fuming that they gave Hugh Greenwood a three year deal that will be activated shortly

Clubs on pre-agent watch, former No.3 pick a trade target

He shouldn't be there at all in a developing side

It was baffling the positive media response when they picked up Greenwood, ripping on GC. At least it would be baffling if they weren't so blatantly Vic biased.

Having said that the experience/age mix at North is up the creek.

Respect to Leon for that. OK, we can say he should have gone years ago, and that he's jumping before he's pushed, but he's done the right thing by his club and that's an honourable thing to do.

Now - to the Sack Hinkley thread! :p
Do we have to? He is the joke that keeps on giving!

He's always struggled to impact a game outside a contest, but he's taken it to a new level at the Roos now. I imagine if Cunnington was with the team still he wouldn't have gotten the deal, but they wanted a bigger body to support the youngsters, so signed him up.
