Sounds good, it means we would be getting closer to multiball.
Is that anything like olive ball?

and just on that, have any Port numpties admitted, as was pointed out to them numerous times, the whole China thing was clearly a joke from the outset and was a catastrophe in the waiting? Well, Covid aside, China's reprehensible human rights record aside, Koch's $$ eyes on his personal business gains aside, The AFL's sucked in hierarchy aside, it was indeed an unmitigated disaster all by itself.

That's a shame.

Not sure why you've Haha'd this WaynesWorld19, I'm being serious.
I thought you had a slight tongue in cheek dig at the AFL .....I thought it was funny .....sad, depressing, but also funny in a warped way

It will be 2 days before the season starts that they introduce subclause 2.1a(i) where if an injury occurs after the sub has been activated, the player subbed out can come back on, but only if the injured player is reasonably expected to miss the next match. To ensure no abuse of this, a sick certificate has to be submitted to the AFL Monday morning.

Would be nice if Berry and Bailey could get pushed out and be a little disgruntled at the end of the year.
Hear what you're saying and recognise these are pretty good players BUT, in our endless search for A graders, we don't want to fill up with any Malinauskases ................... unless of course we have a bunch of spots as we have finally offloaded a few that have ended their contracts and need to be gone.

I want more Dawsons and Rankines and fewer Keays

And while we are talking cruel. Check out the reviews of Shane Crawford's stage performance in Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.

From the Age ....
“The Pharaoh is supposed to be comic relief – a sort of ancient Egyptian Elvis impersonation – but Crawford can’t really hold a tune or wobble a seductive lip (or even find the right spot to stand, sometimes) and his clueless prancing resembles variety performance with a whiff of ritual humiliation about it.

“Seriously, where’s Red Symons with a gong when you need him?

“This is a new nadir for celebrity casting ... and the sheer absence of talent Crawford displays is a bit embarrassing for everyone.”

From The Guardian ......
“Disappointment doesn’t begin to cover it. In a production where every performer is at the top of their game, Crawford’s blundering, tone-deaf turn as the Pharaoh is crushingly bad,” Byrne penned.

“Utterly devoid of stage presence, incapable of delivering a single line with flair or conviction, his addition to the production reads like a giant insult.”

Another feeder club for Victorian teams?
IF you can't convince players to come to Adelaide .....good luck trying to get players to Tasmania

Tasmania will be another Gold Coast fiasco .....we're spreading the talent base thinner & thinner .....the game, instead of being uber-elite as a sport, will be populated with more & more mediocre players

Look at the idiocy of growing the AFLW to 18 teams in a couple of years ......the standard this year was crap .....in its infancy, you had to make AFLW the elite womens comp .....the AFL have set the AFLW back 5-7 years, because of political decisions to appease all AFL Clubs

Tasmania helps break the shackles of the Victorian dominated AFL, edging the non-Vic sides closer to 50% representation.

I can't see how they would be a greater failure than St Kilda, North Melbourne or the Bulldogs. And they serve a population higher than Geelong.

It should succeed. Not be a powerhouse, but it should succeed.

I don't think it will be.

It's so close to Melbourne you could literally drive home on your days off.

I can see it being like the Tassie shield team, a really popular place for players to go to.

Isn't that a North Adelaide innovation? Throwing the extra player on for a period?

How about a "powerplay" where each team only has 10 players on?

Or a "free for all" where for a period there are no frees paid?

I shouldn't be giving the AFL these ideas for free :p

Actually, it was a West Torrens innovation.

Might take 43 years, but karma will always bite one on the bum ;)
