Our best footy this year is better than what I’ve seen from the tigers.

Up to us to get that form back.

A lot of ifs, buts and maybes. We may get it back and contend, but opposition sides may have worked us out too. Time will tell.

6-7 weeks away I’m not writing off or making predictions for any teams

It’s not a shock that you don’t rate us and will talk up others teams

Our form may not be good but there’s plenty of time to build up to the finals

We certainly shouldn’t fear them, or anyone. I’m hoping Scott and our team feel that way. I think their best has us covered, but anything can happen on the night. Like last years prelim.

What concerns me with us is that nobody of note is unavailable- we have a very healthy list. Whee does our improvement come from? Cocky? No way can he be depended on.

Why would one player improve us? Unless Ottens comes back

In fact, Ottens has just quit the ruck coach job, I believe.
It wasn't the point about one player improving us; the point is we are at full strength.
You are cool calm and collected which is great.
Have some empathy for those who see us as a genuine chance to drop at least 4 of the next 5.

Agree. We’re watching the premieres tonight imo. It was always just a matter of if they could get their injured players back in time. And they have.

I thought without Rance, they couldn't win it, but they certainly adapted to win with out him.

Yeah, I thought the same. Such an important player for them but they certainly don’t looked bothered by his absence. I guess their challenge would be a side like the Eagles who have good tall forwards

If our midfield gets on top it nullify their potency, their backline is nothing to write home about

I would back our defenders to keep them down to a reasonable score

This is all assuming of course they keep their form up for the rest of the year and we also improve enough to be able to attack for the flag.

Not that it matters but I don't even like Richmond, umps are not losing this game for the Pies.

Mihocek is generally a fwd that can take a mark & kick goals, 1st time I've seen him tonight (in the 3rd 1/4).
