Man how did you like the movie then... sort of was S3 +

Its funny how differnt people have their own ideas on how they things things should go.

Haven’t seen the movie yet as I don’t have Foxtel

Why does the cameraman continue to follow the man after he's disposed of the ball, rather than the ball itself?

Crept into tv coverage a year or so back, and it's bloody annoying.

If you didnt like S3 ..Mmmm It really revolves around the return of Mcaney/Hurst char to deadwood as a politician.. with some flash backs to s3... Id really have prefered a more expansive s4. It seemed rushed. One thing I found rather curious was the music at the end of the movie . The music in Dwood has always been a key part to me... and to have a very familiar song as part of it... was a surprise.

Brisbane and Carlton are playing attractive and dynamic football. I’m hoping the cats can rediscover a similar style before the finals.

That was just like last weekend. Hawthorn literally had 1 minute to get rid of the ball. Terrible umpiring.

Brisbane Carlton ... and a couple of others ... there a few sides around that look like the sun is rising for them ... while others like the crows look far close to the sun going down... for us id say a certain saying about hay come to mind. I starting to get this feel that our 8th last year is closer to the real future than the 1 we are this year... these other side have so many good players on the good side of 25...

I’m just happy there is a movie

Season 3 was such a let down imo

Just finished the movie, I really enjoyed it.
Very aware of the limitations a 2 hour movie to end it all put upon the writers but I think they did as good a job as could be expected.
I particularly liked the ending, at first I was hoping for a "just" ending where Hearst is killed/locked up forever and Seth and Alma get together but within 10 minutes of the movie I realised that wasn't deadwood, it never would have worked, so I think the ending was perfect.
Great to see all of the old cast play their old roles too (except Cy, RIP).

Just for clarification... a producer would not know one end of a switcher from the other. They are stupid.

The Technical Director or Switcher cutting the cameras will be taking the calls from the Director as to which shot/camera to take.

Its the Director that call the cams whilst watching the multi view wall of all the camera shots available.

Fair point... and nicely interwoven ... still some of the kids they have look like the on the verge of a summer of sun ..
