Watching classic matches, Rd 5 2011: Port v Suns.

What has changed ;) Oh wait, Hinkley was in the Suns coaching box.

Standouts - young players (Swallow in particular) being asked too much of, too soon & K.Hunt.

Not sure 1 person has ever caused so much chaos as he (Hunt) did at the Suns, most notable, an ultra talented 18yo Bennell on the receiving end of that.

Harbs is still playing the same game 7 years later, Bok & Rischa were both good servants. I'd prefer to see Rischa in a coaching role now, maybe player/coach Neafl *shrugs*

The commentators weren't wrong, it was either black or white with Brennan but I still enjoyed seeing him play, both with Lions & Suns.

Classic, the look on Daniel Motlops' face close to the end of the 3rd 1/4 when he gets a kick against Toy and goals.

Luke Russell, you absolute champ! Well, not really but definitely a contributor to the Suns 1st win.

Seen a classic match yesterday but did not enjoy, no prizes for guessing which game.

You mention Brennan, I see a little bit of him in Kreuger. Both very agile for their size.

Carlton trying to win the "Whose season is ****** before it starts Cup" for the 2019 season. Putting in the hard yards in the preseason.
Adelaide are laughing all the way to bank getting carltons first round pick. Sos making another brilliant move probably giving away a no 1 or 2 pick. When will it dawn on the blues that he is an absolutely useless list manager.

His kid is as good at footy as he is at list managemnet, But hey, theyre Silvagnis... theyre Carlton royalty.
Nepotism still running rife at the Navy Blues... some things never change

Not sure why it never clicked with Jared, he was so good when he was on. Hope Kreuger has the talent & the focus to go with it, did like him in his draft year.

Just scanned the 'What makes a player elite? Rank your teams elite and who is almost there' thread on the AFL board. Glad to see no Geelong mentions (yet)because it has already disintegrated into a Richmond v Hawthorn "who has the most elite" shit fight.

Had a laugh at the Tigers fan who rattled off a third of their list as being elite, including Jack Higgins.

Delusional much?

And then there's the Tiger supporter who threw out a hook, saying Rance is the greatest defender to have played in the "modern era"

"Which team has the greatest home ground advantage?" is a ripper thread.
Yeah!! You've got to ask what the point of the thread is. I started reading it and thinking - here we go again. Bash Geelong for being so arrogant as to retain its home ground. Wasn't disappointed

I just luv our massive advantage for our 9 home games at our #1 home ground for our 11 home games.

The simple math lost on all of them.

Not surprising it was started by a Richmond fan too.
