What’s the record tackles by 1 player in a game? I’d guess 17 or 18?

The record is 19, but I believe Scooter holds the record for most tackles in consecutive games with his back to back 17 tackle efforts in his first 2 games of 2017

I just like 3 of the players on that list achieved their tackle count in matches against Melbourne in 2016

Then there's a guy on that list by the name of Gary Ablett who apparently didn't do much defensive work

And for all the efforts by Scooter with 17 tackles against the Dogs in 2017, it's not the record for a Geelong player as Duncan had 18 tackles in the same match

Sicilly( who would be in their best 3-4 players ) back next year - Impey as well - i think they will rebound pretty quickly

As others posted - dont mind their alternate jumper - interesting Ceglar and Shaun Burgoyne were the only 2 players with the proper long socks - all the rest had those cut off short socks

Impey is only a B grader at best.
Sicily is good. Kind of like Stewart such is his aerial dominance in defense.

They look like they are miles off it though. That midfield is incredibly one dimensional and like us, their ruck stocks are old. Hawks going to be bottom table stuff for at least a couple more years to come.

I always like Hawks to finish around 12th.
Totally mediocre and less draft picks.
I like Carlton to finish about last cause they've worked out there's still no hope even with draft picks. They just finished last.
