AFL: OK guys what will we be wearing on ANZAC Day. As home team Collingwood, you can pretty much wear what you want

Collingwood: We have a jumper with even more black than usual

AFL: Sounds good. Essendon, how about you.

Essendon: Just our standard Black with poppy sash

AFL: Brilliant. Can't see any clash issues at all

The AFL insists on clash jumpers for everyone except Collingwood and Essendon it seems. It's bloody horrible.

Pretty sure Essendon have a clash jumper. Collingwood on the other hand.

North were 9-0 in 2016, 10-1 at one stage. Then lost 5 straight and 9 of their last 11 to finish 8th and lose their final.

Early season form isn’t too important.

Except that North had a very soft draw in the first part of 2016, and there was rightly a huge question mark even during that run.

Melbourne have easily beaten both grand finalists. That's a little different already.

Us in 2009. Won the pre-season competition, and then the first 13 games of home and away.

Also 2011. Won the first 13 games of home and away again.
Depends how you define dominate. If it's in terms of wins/losses +% compared to other premiers then sure. If it's in reference to the other top 4 teams than no because we didn't even finish first. Under that definition then it's 2007.
