I notice that Melbourne really do go the lip when they’re on top. They’ve done it to us a few times and to Brisbane too.

I know the cats did it during our premiership years too as did Brisbane.

Not sure we do it anymore. The cats seem fairly respectful to opposition players.

**** seems like a good bloke .
He's done really well at Bris got them playing finals ,heaps better from since hes been there.
Just can't go the next level in pressure is on eg finals.

You expect them to bring the heat next week.

After he's coaching is over he would be an good manager...even at he's age .

Question has to be asked now. With a pretty good side (and opportunity) they have cocked up another year. Melbourne were very good tonight but my god with everything to play for Brisbane were ####ing dreadful.

Pretty similar to how we’ve been in the past too.

They have a well structured team, the sum is greater than the parts.

True but they have a different age profile to us (we have done extremely well this year but are all over the place really compared to them and Melb). They just have to be more competitive in a match like tonight. But not that surprising I guess as they wouldn't have beaten St Kilda (absolutely shite ATM) had Saints kicking for goal been half professional last week. Something not quite right at Brisbane.
