Hopper and Bruhn having very average games

I’m not so sure Collingwood will be “found out” in finals.

Their game style works in finals. It’s literally a cut and paste job of Richmond’s 2017 game style.
Pressure all over the ground and get it forward in waves.

They will have a wave of supporters behind them at the MCG. Last night they were extremely vocal and it wasn’t even a final.

I was completely wrong about them. They were brilliant last night.

I might have to go back and watch our game against them earlier in the year to see how we nullified their gameplan.

I think we would beat them again due to our fitness, but I wouldn’t go into the game confident at all.
Agree. Their tackling AND skill level is the best I've seen so far this season. We have applied more pressure, but not with that finishing. They kicked great goals from pressure plays. I've got the lid back on.

The atmosphere Pies fans will generate if we have to to play them in a "home" Qualifying Final will be absolutely feral. I'm talking 2017 QF against Richmond type levels of partisan hype.
I don't think it will ever get to that level. Wasn't like that in 2019.

Bailey Smith can be a poor user of the ball at times, and it's not helped by his decision making either.

Well thank gawd Darcy in the stands not the booth. Looked like nobody was listening to him there either :)

Gee, could you imagine if he was commentating his son running around? "It's the best father-son selection of all time."

Upto Geelong fans to turn up and make some noise. Be good if our fan base could get the “Geeeeeeeeeeeelloooooooonnnnngggggg” ringing around the MCG like the 2011 GF.

And yet everyone team since then caught breaching the salary cap has had a slap on the wrist

Don’t be naive
The only other serious cap breach was the Canterbury Bulldogs who also copped massive penalties.

All other breaches have been technical and inconsequential. They have punished accordingly.

Clubs around the league are actively getting rid of players to get under the cap. You are trying to defend what the storm did by making up stuff about other clubs that just doesn’t exist. That is a bit lame really.
