This has been a big round on the ladder. The live ladder is starting to see some separation between clubs in the 8 and the chasing pack. Tomorrow’s game (as with every game) is so important to staying with the leaders and not the chasers.

I’m sure our boys know that, and will take nothing for granted tomorrow.

…and if Carlton lose this match their hold on 2nd place is no longer so certain.

There's definitely a mental fragility there which opponents will always be aware of

Sort of game that could easily turn again between now and full time. Still so much time to go. Specially as the umps have decided to get involved again.

Both teams have now led by 33 or more. I remember a final in 2002 where Adelaide led by 40 at quarter time, Melbourne came back to lead by 28 or so late in the 3rd, yet Adelaide came back to win. That was one of those finals that Adelaide earned the right to host but had to play at the MCG. Bit of a weird stat but can't remember a bigger double-comeback? (Yet)
