Pigeon supporters have been dealt a kick in the guts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

former Pigeon Premiership Captain Jason Wild has shit in the face of all Pigeon supporters. After doing all the pre season with the Pigeons, has signed with the highest paying club in country Australia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, you guessed it - the Rennie Hoppers !!!!!!!

Dogs act !!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Go easy Wong! I'll go as far as to say Jas has served the pigeon faithful pretty well over the last 5-8 years. I don't know his record, but i'll have a stab... 100-150 games (maybe more), couple of B&F's, premiership captain in 2006.

Now he's gotta be around 34-35 years of age, I'd suggest having a run around for rennie is prob not a bad move for him at that age, particularly after such a long career - so get off his case.

Also like to point out that he was no doubt paid a pretty penny during his time as a pigeon. Glass house & stones!!

The only "dog act" is your comments about a bloke who has given great service to the pigeons. You are probably the type of person who will p#ss in Wildy's pocket next time you run into him down the street. Pretty ordinary thing to say on a public forum when nobody knows who you are.

I've had a read of your previous posts. I urge other readers to do the same. The majority of your posts comprise of either spreading rumours or taking potshots at decent blokes behind the anonymity of this site. And your rumours have turned out to be way off the mark. You are a coward.

I urge the mods to delete you and your rubbish post.

As usual you and BOOF head16 are missing the point, I was pointing out that he committed to the Pigeons this year then disappeared, and all of a sudden he turns up at Rennie.

As for the coward remark, dont through stones ! zcraig Ednie will play this season with Rennie.

:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu: Couldn't agree more plague, all wonga does is throw cheap shots and start rumours, weak as p!ss, I also see he's had another go at it saying Craig Ednie will play for Rennie this year. It's a well known fact that rennie has had a crack at ednie, however i know him well and know he is not even thinking about footy at the moment and will make a decision about his playing future in due course. Not quite sure what Wildy has done to upset him but i tend to agree that i'm sure wonga would not express his point of view to wildy himself!

Hoping to move down from QLD next year to country Victoria. I'm a Physical education/Maths teacher (P-10) looking for anyone that might know someone involved with schools in the region that I can possibly impress and get a job through.

Played with Mount Gravatt 2006-2007 (QLD state league) & Surfers paradise 2008 (QLD premier league) and had 2009-2010 of due to uni/work commitments.

Currently teaching in Cairns playing for North Cairns in the CAFL.

Can the Faiders beat the mighty grasshopers this week? I say not.
If they do maybe it will br time to put my blaaber mouth in retirment
Go the green n gold

It should be a good tight game realistically. North favourite for mine after a good win.

Which brings me to a question - is Albury being so far infront of everyone else hurting the Ovens and Murray? I always like seeing the best teams play, but I don't like watching 100 point floggings much. When I get the chance to watch a game I find myself thinking argh well I won't go watch Albury play pretty well anyone at the minute so I will go to another game. I would also think Albury's crowd numbers would be down for that same reason and anyone playing Albury would keep a few away from paying up to watch.

I can understand people not wanting to watch Albury, cos who wants to watch a game you already know the result of. As for Albury being so dominant and its effect on the comp, a lot will be answered in the next few years with the turnover of players. Some will retire, others will move on to other country leagues to pursue coaching ambitions, but it will come down to the calibre of the replacements being lured in. If they keep topping up with high end recruits year after year, more and more players from other o and m clubs will defect to other leagues, cos lets face it, who will keep playing in a comp you have zero chance of winning.

Yeah fair point there also from the other clubs administration or recuitment point of view I guess. Surely some must think we might hold off recuiting heavily for 12 months and then go all out while Albury are so dominant. Obviously Yarra is having a real go, I guess Wang also have really recruited well, but maybe some other clubs are saving their cash as there hasn't been a massive influx of quality into the league in the last 2 years. Maybe they have been holding off for a crack at the cup rather than an 'costly' second place.

There are strong rumours that Craig Ednie might be playing in a Melbourne metro comp. I heard his name mentioned through a mate and although the club in question has nothing official, apparently there are indications he will play for them. Apparently overseas but due back shortly from what I can understand. Would be a handy pickup as the club in question looks like playing off for the flag.

I'm not saying you're right or wrong with this one cos I wouldn't know either way. I just wanna get this straight.

You've heard from a mate, that there are strong rumours that a Melbourne metro club, who look like playing off for a flag (in May mind you) might have craig ednie playing for them, if he gets back from an apparent overseas trip, but there's nothing offical about it, there's just indications that all of this will happen.

Forgive me here, but you're not exactly filling me full of confidence with all of that info!

Yeah have also heard these rumours ant hill but pretty sure thats all they are at this stage, maybe the following season and good luck to them if they do get him as i agree very handy pick up, I suppose time will tell.

This Ednie story is fast becoming one of the biggest ones in Country/Metro football.

everyone seems to be lining up for a piece of the little master (and why not? he's a ****ing gun)

Gut feel is if Yarra get back on track and look like challenging Albury then he'll play, if not, it'll be for Rennie/in Melbourne somewhere.

The rumoured numbers going around per game he is being offered (I won't post because I don't know their credibility) is beyond ridiculous...

let's just say if he takes the coin it will only take a handful of games for Craig to completely pay off his oversea's trip

Well we`ll just have to wait and see!

North Albury v Raiders...

who's gonna win?

massive game in the context of the season, it's pretty clear that those two are fighting for that final spot in the five.

watched north/wodonga game saturday my first omfl game .would this be a normal home and away crowd at an omfl game?

The crowd at the North v Wodonga game would have been pretty standard being around 500-600 people. Obviously crowds grow a bit for grudge matches, top of the table clashes, games played on public holidays, but 500-1000 would be the norm for most o and m games.

After getting charged admission half way through the third quarter when they were up by 40 points against Corowa i won't go and watch another Albury home game again while they are spending $300,000 a year to field their team of All Stars. While they are propped by a very financial individual the Tigers will be near unbeatable but if he pulls out they will drop down the ladder in a big way.

Silvan in the Yarra Valley league had a big financial backer propping up their team for years with Essendon has-beens and they were on top but as soon as he went bankrupt they were Wooden Spooners. Unfortunately it's when Albury play away particulary against the battling club's that supporters stay away in droves and the home club suffers on the gate.
