popathon can't believe that his first preference has lasted this late!
Neither can I in fact....I believe this player will be one of the deciding factors in how far Collingwood can go next year.

Player 896659876487

Travis Cloke

Big trav has been on our radar for a long time now. To be able to pick him up so late in the draft is a pleasent surprise. He'll be a main spearhead we can build our list around for the next 10 years.

brb....making a coffee
No word from RiverRat,
MG13 chooses young Goldy once again!
I see Daisy has fallen out of favour...:D

Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I got on & saw that I'd ended up with Goldy & almost jumped up & down.... instead I just breathed a sigh of relief!
So happy!! :D:D:thumbsu:

Yes, Daisy has fallen slightly. He's still my favourite player but when it comes to buddy reporting I think (& I've been told) I could get a little to distracted. & besides, he's lost that 'OMG!!' factor, & I've grown up quite a bit lol.

So, do we start new threads? have the old ones been deleted? or locked? (I'd like them NOT to be deleted, because I'm going to use my old one as reference....)

No word from Heater39, so here are the last few picks!

person_pitch - Danny Stanley
Stripes 13 - Jaxson Barham
standingroomonly - Sharrod Wellingham
abs of STEELE - Ryan Cook

I'm off to have some dinner,
thanks guys, you've been great! :D

Hurrah, Stanners!

Good organising etc. Skeetz :thumbsu:

Marklar chooses
#2
Sean Rusling

Marklar can't believe his luck!

I sure cannot believe my luck, last year I had people behind me begging me not to take him, but that was never going to happen. Now he falls to around 30ish? Amazed

In the spirit of the 'older' players mentoring the younger, I've taken on Tarks so I'd be happy to take on Chris Dawes as well, if no-one's got any objections?

I've been off having my dinner also Skeetz.
Bloody good job with the whole Buddy Draft from weeks ago until now.:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
If no-one picks up Dawes I'll continue again as well as Maxie.

Thanks for the offers guys.
I will be happy for you to step in, but I'd like to leave it open till Tuesday arvo. If anyone who missed out would like to still participate, or perhaps someone who didn't sign up in the first place, I'd like to give them a chance. :)

As for the question of starting new threads, I'm looking at a way to archive all of the 08 threads into a wiki, so go ahead and start a new thread. Good to see some eager posters! Just don't use up all your enthusiasm now and run out of steam later in the season :D

Thanks for all the kind words as well guys. I was happy to put in the effort to get this thing happening again (even if my partner claims it ruined his Sunday arvo :D)

If anyone picks up Kevin Dyas, who has come 20,000 kilometres to find his inner magpie, I'll provide secondary-buddy support, if need be.

He's still learning the game, and suffered a real setback last year when he tore his hamstring very badly playing in the VFL. Apparently he's over that now. Could develop into a tough wee defender.:thumbsu:

There is still 6 senior listed players up for grabs...
At least 2 of them are guaranteed to get a fair bit of game time this year (injuries withstanding), Big Fraze & Presti.
Bear, Leigh Brown, Corrie & Cox are all still available, as well as some rookies, if anyone wants to have a slightly less demanding buddy.
