had a sneaky feeling we had a come back in us, left our run too late unfortunately. melbourne completely stopped in the last quarter and we ran an absolute riot on them! LDU, sheezel, zurhaar and wardlaw were all brilliant tonight!

if you thought the umpiring ****ed us last week, tonight was a whole other story. got absolutely rammed with no lube tonight by the umpires. max gawn

Losing stinks but the effort and improvement is obviously there. If we keep working hard and don’t lose anyone that is integral to our future the belief and wins will come. Hopefully this year but next year definitely.

At the same we should expect some wins for the rest of the year.

Don't forget last year's games against * and Sydney.We were all encouraged and thought wins would naturally come and we fell back to shit again. We can't rest on our laurels thinking it will just happen.

We've had enough 1 goal losses as well as heavy losses. It's time to start collecting those Ws.

curtis taylor did well tonight, took some really crucial marks tonight.

I’m a big knocker of Curtis Taylor but he’s starting to look like he belongs. Using his body a lot better and presenting very well.

Think a few are being a bit harsh on Larkey. Played a fairly selfless game I thought. Tried to drag May out a lot in that last quarter.

I’m prepared to give Teakle a chance to prove himself but the difference he and Pink have made to Larkey is huge, a decent second tall forward will make an even bigger difference.

Frustrating to let another one slip, multiple chances to ice it.

Umpiring was an absolute dogs breakfast all day. They were so clearly aware that they ****ed up last week but it just made them worse. No consistency, Larkey done with 0.5 of a second but the same free goes begging 30secs later the other way. Could pick inconsistencies all day.

Positive is that we have a team that now is starting to believe they can hunt teams and pile on goals. Hoping for a strong back half of the year and really set the hunger for next season.

We literally did let that one slip.
The umpiring was disappointing but it wasn't the reason we lost. Too many bad decisions and we obviously need to weed out some players that are holding us back, and some of them aren't obvious and maybe unpopular.
