Just trying to work out why it’s ok to call a kid just starting out a d***head and saying he’s been crap in all his games on a national tv broadcast. He's struggled for consistency throughout games as many young forwards do, however I thought Saturday's game was a step forward in him keeping involved more throughout the game. Struggled to finish his work unfortunately.

If we can persist, without detriment to overall team performance, it is worth it. All well and good to say time in the seconds but there isn't much of that going at the moment.

Any criticism of his 7 games is a bit harsh. Every one can see the raw talent he has, the fact he's managed 7 games is a bonus in a season without sanfl competition. Especially when we've all banged on for years under Ken that we don't develop tall forwards.

Georgiades is a key to our October IMO. Might have only played 7 games but I have big expectations and I reckon he can carry them.

I don't want Hoff playing forward, so Marshall, Ladhams and Georgiades in our forwardline takes the heat of Charlie and the two young guns can lead away from Charlie and defenders will have to follow them and the space opens up deeper inside 50.

Plus it lets you set up along the wing coming out of defence with Lycett/Ladhams then 40/50m up the line is Marshall, then 30/50m up the line Georgiades, then Dixon is free one on one deep. And all these guys are interchangeable in that situation.

It means we don't need everyone trying to mark the McKenzie kick out in the centre square or when we need to play relatively safely coming out of defence and don't have free running players. We can still keep some deeper inside 50.

I reckon he has extra long arms. When he leaps across a pack his arms seem to extend longer than they should.

That big mark he took on the outer wing in the last quarter in front of me, I was confident he would take it before he leapt but had started runing towards the pack, because a combo of his big leap and telescopic arms, he sees him have his hands at the highest point in a pack in a lot of contested pack marking situations.

We have been crying for years about the lack of development and patience to blood a young key forward. We finally do it in a year where we sit top no less and people have cracks about a first year KPP consistency? Spare me. These games are invaluable in his journey and he (and we) will be so much better for having him play in the firsts for as long as we possibly can.

He had four very gettable shots on goal and took two important marks in the last quarter. I don’t think he’s out of his depth at all.

With Marshall back in the side MG can be third tall and only needs to have impact with limited possessions.

I was concerned over expectations of him playing alongside Ladhams. Marshall eases the pressure considerably.

Now it just depends on how the fitness team view his biometrics.

3 talls is the best setup, MG getting the third best defender would work wonders. The next 2 years are going to be something special if we can nail it with Dixon here, it’s the reason why I had so much faith when we picked up Watts. West Coast nailed it in 2018.
