What he’s produced since HT round 5 is everything we could have hoped for when we drafted him. Over the last three weeks, his goal radar has also started to return which is going to make him one of the best mids in the comp.
The explosive goal kicking mid that we have needed for over a decade (and that all premiership teams have now).

Hello

I was speaking to an ex power captain today at the big shed.

They said rozee has completely lost interest in football.

Sounds like another Wingard

Hinkley effect?!

Interest restored, it seems!

watching him burst away from the contest reminds me of Peter Burgoyne, most enjoyably part of watching the team now. amazing turnaround

A midfielder who can run out of congestion like everyone else is stationary is probably second only to a dominant key forward in terms of the most enjoyable part of the game.

Yep. Something about how he moves reminds me of Judd a bit sometimes. And Josh Francou. The dancing stuff, I guess.

I can't believe they still are not tagging him, if i was an opposition coach and I saw him get multiple clearances like you described i'd want to shut it down immediately.
Its not like he is just getting it, pumping his legs and bombing it long like Nathan Foley or Dangerfield, he uses the space he has created to settle, lower the eyes and hit a target.

Absolutely, he's not quite Robbie yet but his movement in traffic out of a stoppage is reminiscent. You can't teach that either, and it's a superstar quality.

Yeah, Robbie never really had pace, his best footy come from his head, not his body. Was always one step ahead upstairs.

Connor has more physical advantages.

I'm not 100% convinced on Rozee as a mid, but either way it looks like we've got a serious player on our hands. Last 2 weeks + the Geelong game he was so-so in the middle but still good enough to turn in a BOG performance at half forward. Hope he can do enough to get his first AA.

Hes still young. Dangerfield, Petracca etc didnt become elite mids until their 5th season.
