One thing I’ve noticed is that the Gabba’s surface is actually looking very nice, bar the cricket pitch which looks jarring but there’s not much you can do there. Looks nowhere as patchy as it did a few weeks ago.

He’s getting involved a lot

He’s also going for more marks than spoils in the second half of this year

Still very shaky defending when the ball hits the deck. He’s purely an aerial defender. Which makes me ask where the hell are saints small defenders that Howard always has to do that kind of work? There’s barely any help from smalls back there sweeping the contests to mop up ground balls.

I reckon the 2 other minnow Vic clubs, although historically more successful, are far less deserving of being in a so called national football league. They offer nothing.
