Paddy has been better this year than his last couple of years at Port but the long break and short quarters has helped his recovery from his ankle problems. Paddy is still quality and too good for English.

Howard is no better or worse than he was at Port. I can see why Monty didn't like him in defence. He's very lazy when he's not involved in play.

We let paddy go for nothing but got okay (but not great value for doogs.

But our draft dept turned that “okay” hail into Dylan Williams + 2020 2nd round draft pick so we did really well out of it.

Doogs first half of the season was very similar to what he produced at port but in the second half of the year he’s been excellent. Started taking grabs and not spoiling which is what we wanted from him.

Probably a rare case where both teams have made out pretty well from a trade.
