The Coodabeens have been promoting a competition for the best (Vic) country footy team jumper - today the winner was announced. Not sure if Murtoa and Minyip consulted Eddy McGuire about the design...

needs wharf, pylons and blue sky type colours not dark sea blue.

This time of year - ie last 3 or 4 games there are always 1, 2 or 3 upsets every week. With these 4/5/6 day breaks still in play I can't see why history won't repeat this year.

3 potential upsets a round some that would help Ports

Rd 16
Gee 4th v Ess 11th - Cats don't have a great record after the bye - this one is 9 day break not usual 14 days.
WB 10th v WCE 5th - Bulldogs 9 day break, Eagles only 5 days
Bris 2nd v GC 13th - Bris 5 day break, Suns 10 days

Rd 17
StK 7th v WCE 5th - both coming off 4 day breaks
Carl 12th v Adel 18th - both coming off 5 day breaks

Gee 4th v Rich 3rd - Not an upset but could stop Port's home QF, 5 day break vs 9 day break

Rd 18
Coll 6th v Port 1st
Freo 14th v WB 10th - doggies will probably be pushing for finals spot
Adel 18th v Rich 3rd - crows might need win to get over North and Rich can only stay 3rd or 4th with a win.

Gold Coast are playing their grand final next game just as Crows played theirs last game. Brisbane are in as bad a form as you can be whilst still winning. They just lost two players, including their best defender to injury for weeks. Swans have found some pluck. Carlton whilst terribly inconsistent can do anything on their day. Brisbane could drop one or more matches.

Then finals hit and their terrible goal kicking plays on their minds. Out in straight sets again (if they make top 4).

Carlton struggle to score goals in the second half of a game at the moment.

That's the actual guernsey of the Minyip Murtoa Kookaburras

They're a merger of two separate teams - Minyip and Murtoa. One of them had a Juventus like jumper and the other had a blue yoked jumper and they slapped the two together.

AFL commentator Brian Taylor has slammed the Richmond players involved in a serious COVID-19 breach but Channel 7 colleague and footy legend Wayne Carey sympathises with the pair.

Hollywood Showgirls on Orchid Ave in Surfers Paradise wasn’t dishing any details about what went down.

“To our valued customers. What happens in Hollywood stays in Hollywood,” the venue’s licensee Craig Duffy wrote on its Instagram page.

“We cannot confirm or deny any fight or eviction occurred.”

“I know they made a big mistake, but I can’t help but feel sorry for them,” Carey said during Seven’s broadcast of Brisbane’s win over Collingwood on Friday night. “A huge, huge mistake, but I feel ill for them.

“They are under all sorts of pressure and will cop all sorts of criticism. Deservedly so, but I feel for them.”

Wayne Carey of good character feels sorry for them. No surprise there.

Why do you feel sorry for them Duck?

The situation was entirely of their own making. Maybe you feel sorry for them because if they were better footballers they wouldn't have been penalised as harshly.

Wayne Carey once again showing that he really is a very poor human being.

I know but from REH's comment he seemed to think it was just some random guernsey design competition.

If you think Wayne Carey would be the only one thinking this that's crazy.
