Ooof, well i hope it's not true for her sake. And if it is, throw the book. His girlfriend put a post on her instagram that he beat her up, complete with a pic of her with bruises/scratches on her face. Its been taken down now though
They wont have to pay ... Richmond have to pay the fine. Players assoc will come down hard on Richmond.Them kids can't afford 75k

How is this a remark from a professional in his field? The term professional used extremely lightly here. But my goodness he sounds so bitter and childish.lol old mate Stephen cRowe on 5AA after the Crows historic win:
"Port will always have 119, and they were really hoping Crows would get 0-17, now they don't and never will."
Forget that you didn't win a game in over a year.
They're impossible to reason with.
AFAIK, there isn’t actually any real fine to pay... it just comes off of the soft cap next season. They wont have to pay ... Richmond have to pay the fine. Players assoc will come down hard on Richmond.

That’s not how Chris Davies explained it with the Houston/ Ladhams sanction. Not how I understand it. I understood the fine gets paid and counted against next years soft cap.
Nah, IF Elijah has in fact done that to that young lady - he can get ****ed!For all of the virtue signalling around Indigenous people, racism, etc, there's a really ugly side to the AFL and the media when it comes to reporting certain issues.
We saw it with our own SPP in his early days at the club. We've seen it this week with Sydney Stack and Elijah Taylor. Piling onto young, immature Indigenous teenagers/early 20s who have had very different lives and upbringings to Tom Morris, Tom Browne and the rest of the Brighton Grammar Toms that proliferate the football media and increasingly the AFL playing ranks.
Clearly this is NOT to excuse the behaviour. But maybe just give some consideration to the growth process these players need to go through when they come into the system and actually live your supposed cultural awareness rather than just virtue signalling when it suits you to make yourself look and feel good.
Being a piece of sh*t has nothing to do with being a young aboriginal man!
The different causal/contributing factors that lead up to Domestic Violence in different communities don't make it more or less acceptable, or the perpetrators more or less culpable for their actions. Then the high rates of DV among Aboriginals obviously just means Aboriginals are bigger pieces of sh*t than white people?
Thanks for playing, point proven.

Good take on the massive issue of domestic violence that is within ALL parts of society champ!
As I said, IF Elijah did what he is accused of - the HE is a piece of sh*t!
I would have the same opinion of Travis Boak if he done the same thing!
Domestic violence is certainly not exclusive to the aboriginal community, in fact - domestic violence within the “white” community is seldom reported and all to often kept behind closed doors...
Thanks for playing the stereo typical white make role in the argument though! You’ve done it brilliantly!
I think we are arguing in the same side as well in general with how young aboriginal lads get treated... BUT, my point is - Elijah is a piece of shit (if he is guilty of the allegations) and in his case, he deserves all the judgment that comes his way from any angle! As does anyone that does that to their partner - no matter their race, religion, sex or upbringing!I may be wrong but I think you’ll find that Teekray agrees with you. His original comment was the difference in how the AFL media responds depending on the background of the (alleged) perpetrator.
