I have no sympathy for Geelong but FMD that was 15m.

The goal square is 9m long by 6.4m wide and the distance between goal and point posts are all 6.4m, No wonder you said you don't understand what 15 metres is GremioPower after some very short kcks were paid marks in Rd 1.

Umpires didn’t lack references to make the right call. This has homerism written all over it. If it were here, the umpire would have been surrounded by 18 angry men. There would have been mayhem.

I miss some mayhem. In the right amount, it’s more than entertaining. It’s healthy!

Nicks is just there to get games in to the kids until:

1. They improve to a certain point which Nicks can't get them beyond, and they need a better coach to finish the work; or
2. The Crows realise the kids aren't good enough and they need another coach to start the rebuild process again.

Either way, he will have a short shelf life at the Crows.
He was always brought on to be their scapegoat. Any thing beyond that would be a bonus. If he didnt expect this he is delusional.

Gotta funny feeling lolnorf could cause the mother of all upsets today. I recall on this round 4 years ago, norf (1 win, 5 losses to that point) played the crows (undefeated) in Hobart (scene of today’s game), where the roos score 10.4 to nil in the opening quarter, albeit with the help of a gale. If conditions are going to be similar, then the coin toss could well decide the result. I put a sneaky $5 on lolnorf just in case.

Didn’t see the game live, did they cross up to the geelong coaching box? Hope they did

Apparently I’m also a coward for asking somebody to answer a question. Between them these muppets haven’t got two brain cells to rub together.

BustedWing is a mainstay on the conspiracy board. The dude spends way too much time arguing on forums for no apparent reason.

I did have a chuckle at Chugswizza liking a clear parody post. When you can’t tell the difference between your stance and a pisstake, probably best to reassess things.

I was at the Adelaide Railway Station during three quarter time of the Camry Crows' game yesterday and there where a dozen or so Camry Crows' supporters already there. When my train left at 4:01pm, which would have been about 10 minutes into the last quarter, the carriage I was in was about two thirds full with all but a few passengers wearing Camry Crows' gear or wearing Camry Crows' lanyards around their necks.

Did have a chuckle to myself but then when I felt like putting my foot through the TV at three quarter time last night I thought maybe it wasn't so funny. :(

Couldn't happen to a better club. I thought they'd ditched it going 15metres based on our home games. I'm sure multiple kicks for both us and opponents have barely cracked 10 metres and still called a mark. As it's been fairly consistent for both sides I haven't worried about it. To have Geelong the victim of a rarely used rule (and wrongly) instead of the usual beneficiary warms me inside though.

To “protect the West Australian community”, the Premier said they’d made the decision to not permit spectators at the AFL Derby at Optus Stadium this afternoon.

“I understand people will be disappointed and some people will be frustrated but the decision has been made on health advice and we have tried to communicate this as quickly as possible,” he said.

**** me that's a massive call. You can't imagine the clubs would be happy. Game is only 3 and a half hours away too, you'd have to imagine there would be country supporters on the way there already.
