Watching the Essendon v Crows game and the 43k Friday night, perfect conditions against last years GFinalists and favourites for this year is a positive apparently.

38k in boiling heat for the shitty twilight spot against a crappy Freo isn’t.

Poor Arch - injured in JLT1, still 4 weeks away...

More of the same.

Glad he's on West coast's list and not ours tbh.

Particularly given it looked and sounded like Freo brought about 50 fans with them.

yep, Essendon should've got closer to 50k for that game. JOKE.

For the first few weeks of last years footy season there seemed to be a negative story related to Port every week, from the D...head on the Melbourne tram (https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/35084401/port-adelaide-fan-wearing-nazi-swastika-alrms-club-and-afl/) to all the negative press around the China game; from the air pollution (https://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/2...-china-just-keeps-getting-weirder_a_22080649/) to Kim Jong Un blowing the whole joint up. It's quite refreshing that it is someone else turn. As much as they try and sweep it all under the carpet I think the tingles mind games has a bit to play out yet. From listening to a psychologist on ABC 891 this morning they have completely gone about it in an arse about way. What a rock show!

As funny as that would be, I hope it's someone else. Reason? Two players leaving is better than one.

In between proclaiming this to be fake news because their captain came out and said he enjoyed the camp (because what the **** else is their captain going to publicly tell the media) the Crows board seems to think the leak was Tom Lynch. He would be a big loss. Almost bigger than Sloane in terms of how important he is to their system.

38k is fine.

The league average last year was 34k, so we're above that. We're ranked sixth for attendance in the league.

Sydney usually only gets 30k to games, also a two team city, but with 5x the population of Adelaide.

We even have higher average attendance than Hawthorn and Geelong.

There are Melbourne teams who average a lot less than we do.

This isn't 2011 19k average at Football Park anymore.

Even Adelaide isn't number one (as much as their supporters seem to think they are), Richmond, Essendon and Collingwood have higher average attendance than they do.

I would say they are building a nice little history for themselves.
Yep get the popcorn and sit back.
Something must be going on at the crows as an article came out stating "Rory Laird set to re-sign"
A distraction because people are pumping up our tyres and they don't like it. Let's have an article about why
12 crows didn't lay a tackle in the last Qtr v Essendon so my Q to their ambassadors ...

Was in Melbourne last week and read this. Interesting as it is, it certainly could use a slight revision this week ;)

"This move towards the mind has seen three clubs – Richmond, Hawthorn and Essendon – employ the services of a company jointly owned and operated by swimming champion Ian Thorpe, cricketer Shane Watson and a Canadian-born mental-edge expert, Dr Jacques Dallaire."

They're using one of the most mentally piss weak international cricketers of all time to find a mental edge? Good luck

As hilarious as it would be to have them both leave this year - I'd be worried that the massive hit might finally cause the corporation to review their culture in order to stop players leaving

The games and results they point to as supporting evidence are very selective though. They refer to the Hawks upset win over the crows last year, but ignore the fact that only two weeks prior they played us on the same ground and didn't even score for a half of the game. Apparently both Richmond and the crows were using similar strategies prior to the gf and yet the performances of the two teams were chalk and cheese.

lol they wont review it if it means accountability for the fat cats on the board. It will have to be member driven.

Alana Fagan, wife of the Crows CEO, has just issued a statement denying that the Crows ever went to a training camp on the Gold Coast.

lol this is just laughable.
