I have a few Crows supporting friends, but none of them are members, and they’ve all realised that until they put their money where there mouth is and pony up for a membership I’ll always just think of them as casual supporters who’s opinion on football is worthless and they know that so they don’t bother anymore. Until their passion is at the same level as mine (therefore they are as emotionally invested and have as much to lose) I will continue to ignore them. Once they are at that level and know that I can dagger them as hard as they can dagger me, the banter becomes a lot more respectful.

Don't forget the old "calm down it is only a footy game" after months of relentless torment and total bullshit.

I could almost forgive all of their nauseating shit (and there is a lot) if this wasn't a thing. They have the worst banter of any known humans.

11 years of pathetic 119 jokes over and over and over again, yet 2 months after last years grand final "Why do Port fans always look backwards"

I saw a tweet from 7 saying ‘How many weeks (IF ANY) should Tex get?’

When he gets 3 does John Riddell open the news with "This just to hand, Tex Walker has got three games despite the best efforts of Channel 7 to get him off. S**t."
Maybe they'll do what Waleed Aly tried to do with Bachar Houli and provide a character reference. But they'll realise that doesn't work as Tex has no character,

Ever noticed how many things they collectively imagine?

Such as...

* Any possibility of tarps returning at Adelaide Oval
* Port somehow being the only club to ever receive financial assistance or that they’ve never received any whatsoever
* Kane Cornes and Michelangelo Rucci = under-representation in the media, despite their numberous “ambassador” mouthpieces
* That they don’t have any feral cretin supporters
* 2007 being any sort of achievement for their club

Can Crows make September charge?
ADELAIDE has a heartbeat. With vice-captain Rory Sloane leading the way, an inspired Crows can again dream of September action — but the win could come at a cost.
Paywall.. Advertiser
Crows have no bloody way of playing finals ... tell em they are dreaming..:D

Last night they were slightly less awful than Geelong. Neither will play finals.

Wants to make the fans feel like they’re part of the joint, fires off a tweet.

I remember being in Melbourne a few years ago for a final. We were at Bells Hotel pre-game and over walks KT.

“What are you boys drinking?”

KT casually strides over to the bar, brings back 4 jugs, then sits down and hangs with us for half an hour.

Taylor Walker did similar. Except he kept the jugs for himself but still put them on our tab :(

Last night's game looked like 2 bog standard teams scrapping out for 10th place. The equivalent of a cripple fight.

Still, what’s tonight’s game? St Kilda v Carlton? That’s like morgue attendants rolling cadavers on trolleys at each other.

i can see adelaide making the 8 tho. apart from us i cant see them loosing a game

Other then Melb (who smashed them last time and Walker will be missing for that game) Giants and North ? Both those sides will need to win to play finals, as do Melb.

Bris next week is not be easy, especially if Gibbs gets suspended.

Honestly the fact that Geelong got within 3 goals of them despite the ridiculous amount of unforced errors and Menzel, Parfitt, Guthrie and Buzza all playing pretty much career worst games should be deeply concerning. I just wish Geelong would play like that against us for once.

'Unforced errors' should really be a stat in the AFL. Not every clanger is created equal. A bloke winning a clearance under pressure and hacking a kick forward out of the contest which happens to go to the opposition should not be in the same category as Brandon Parfitt taking a mark at half back and then kicking the ball at right angles straight out on the full, or Daniel Menzel (and several other players, but his sticks out because of what an important time of the game it was) dropping a completely uncontested mark. Geelong weren't making these errors because of fantastic Crows pressure, they were just making them because they're a bog average football side.

I genuinely think it's between us and the Tigers but the team i'm most fearful coming up against in the finals would be Geelong. We just can't match them for whatever reason.

Yeah, but, I did the ladder predictor....

I think Geelong will hang on for 7th or 8th off the back of some comfortable home ground wins. Crows I expect to miss by percentage at best. Current 8 to remain the final 8 and current top 4 also to remain intact imo.

The sooner we as a collective realise that this is their supporter base (due to the media in this state fapping over them) the better..

If we lose to this shitty Geelong team again, I expect Kens resignation in the after game presser..

The number of times Sam Jacobs, who can barely walk these days, was left standing all by himself in the middle of the ground to mark, look left, look right, then spin and dish off to one of three teammates streaming by unmanned, summed up exactly what sort of resistance Geelong was offering.

Continuing on re Cats finals hopes and they have 4 of their last 6 at home against Melb, Lions, Freo and Suns. If they only win 3 more games for the year I think they still get in on %.

Yep, finals like pressure there.
