Robbie played a game or two in early 2013 to complete his recovery from his horrendous knee injury 12 months earlier. He returned to AFL as substitute for round 5 vs. West Coast and came on when Jacko went off with his own, less horrendous, knee injury, second quarter I recall.

He debuted in Round 10 of 2007. He started the season off at West Adelaide and looked bloody good for the get go. 2009 was the first year he was a regular in the AFL side.

Haha walker has been smashed this year. The funny thing is he's no different to previous years but for some reason the facade got smashed.

I hope he wins AFLPA best captain again.

In a game, no. In a consistent pattern over several seasons, maybe.
Especially when it's happened whether we've had a strong team (last year) or a weak team like this year. You can't then say 'Well it's because Port are always second to the ball' etc. across all seasons.

The 'some reason' was last year's grand final. Watching the wider football world finally see Walker as the massive dickhead that he is has been probably my favourite part of the GF fallout.

The other AFL Captains wanted a laugh .. that's why he was voted best Captain .. don't ya you just love it ..:D
A bit like one of the Lonie's being voted hardest player and Cameron Ling best looking. A piss take of the highest order.

The difference being that supporters of those clubs realised it was a piss take. Adelaide fans went all in on 'Tex is best'.

We all know what's going on but wait it gets better, Alberton a couple of months ago, tight game LT or Neade kick a goal 20m out
at the Tim Evans end, no-one in the goal square no-one within touching distance of the kicker. A POINT signalled.
Player remonstrates field umpire intervenes with the OI ! CALM DOWN msg. Went over to supporters sitting right behind the goals
" That went thru didn't it"?
"Yep" was the reply complete with a shrug of the shoulders. BTW field umpire had a perfect view of it all.

TRUE story on my Mother's grave.

"It’s what we've done throughout the year – and it's pretty conclusive in the guidelines – that when you strike with a raised forearm or elbow, it's usually intentional," Christian said.

Except when Tom Mitchell does it I guess.

First year they've performed poorly and missed the finals since he became captain. Once the facade of team success is stripped away, the truth is laid bare.

I haven't seen the vision, but Kyle Cheney's suspension is not being challenged by theadelaidefootballclub. Some are less equal than others.

#expendable

Was going to be dropped for Smith anyway.

Maybe being the operative word. As I posted earlier, the free kick differential neither proves, as many posters claim, nor disproves that there is umpire bias.

A definite trend over multiple seasons may indicate a bias but in itself it is still not proof.

I have seen some still frames and it looked shoulder to shoulder.

I guess they were dropping him anyway.

It's enough to warrant further enquiry.

The absence of further inquiry says a lot IMO.

Maybe not proof in a court of law but enough for a footy forum discussion.
