As soon as it has become greasy the last couple weeks it has killed us. We are not suited to wet weather footy. GWS, Syd, Melb, all smashed us due to greasy conditions.

I try to convince myself that showdowns are 50/50 and all that but I genuinely can't see how we will manage to kick enough goals to manufacture a winning score.

The last 2 weeks we have 12 goals from 90 odd inside 50s. The crows have kicked 70 goals in the last 3 weeks. In the last 5 weeks Charlie Dixon has been outscored by Kyle Hartigan and Jake Lever. I apologise if I don't share the optimism.

I try to convince myself that showdowns are 50/50 and all that but I genuinely can't see how we will manage to kick enough goals to manufacture a winning score.

I'm essentially hoping we bring them down to our level in a scrap, and get a few through the midfield brigade.
On paper it looks like a thumping in the making, but the release of pressure will likely help our group (as it always seems to ) and hopefully we get a bit of enthusiasm back by bringing in more youth.

Yeah it might pay to watch the Premier League soccer: they could score more goals than the Port forward line.

The second one was odd, as soon as it was at the feet of the Essendon player the Suns players held back and appealed for the free instead of attempting to put that player under pressure. Maybe that attitude made the umpire decide not to pay the free.
