Because you get the best view of the ground from level 4. The best view without mortgaging your house that is.

I haven't watched footy in loco, but I believe you. I was already a grown-up man when the most valuable seats in Brazilian stadia changed places. It was only in the 2010's that the most expensive tickets would give you access to the bottom ring. For decades, it used to be in the top ring. I still prefer watching games from above.

But my point still stands. For Melbourne and Hawthorn matches (except those against the Top-4 clubs and Geelong), the top ring of the MCG should be closed. It would enhance the atmosphere both on site and for the broadcasting.

Just me or does bailey fitsch have a weird skinny fat thing going on? That guernsey is looking a bit tight round the belly.

Just as Beavis and Butt-Head is crudely drawn, so too is Bayley Fritsch.

Does Eric Hipwood only ever look like an All Australian against us?

Now I know they don’t play at the MCG that often, but that is a fair drought

If you have to travel interstate and have a 40% or more win ratio, over a decade, at any venue outside your home state, you are doing well.

Brisbane Lions (ie post 96 merger) after 2004 GF were 11-14 ie 44%. They were 13-19 after their first game they played and won in 2009, Voss' first year and they made finals ie 40.6%. After tonight they will be 15-1-38 ie 27.8%

Even the Brisbane Bears were ok there early 3-5 in 1988, then ended up 3-23 ie 11.6% when the Bears finished in 1996.

Its why I changed my tip this arvo.

Steven may back and Melbourne look great again , who couldn't see that 1 coming

Luke Jackson has never been in front of a camera before 😆

Bayley Fritsch has 91 goals since the start of last season.

People go up there anyway, closed or not. We paid for a ticket, we want to watch from where we want to watch.

Melbourne have this ability to create an avalanche of goals & kill a game quick, I think they were relying on bursts and cruising a bit recently until tonight.

Three losses in a row was probably good for them just refocused & tuned them up a bit.
