2nd and 3rd round picks for 2023 that must be traded is a sensible setup. No priority picks should be just given out to use in the draft. By the time Father/Son's and Academy picks get factored in that's going to end up something like pick 22 and pick 45. This is not going to net them (or the club(s) traded to) a star. It's a solid journeyman (or two) type player. That should be enough to help North be more competitive, but it isn't going to screw other clubs over greatly.

If we place it as pick 22 in 2023, is there anyone on our list we'd consider expendable enough to try and get?

I know rookie list players are on minimum wage, but does this mean N0rf will be getting a TPP supplement to cover the two extra list spots they've been gifted? Of course not - their payments will be outside the cap, you fool!
