Would work on cRowie and KG. Not sure about the tribunal that hears the challenge.

The defence should tell the court they are going to show a replay of McAdam's action to explain why it wasn't that bad. Then instead, "accidentally" play vision of Kosi's bump.

Might not win the case but it would be hilarious.

Our game was not umpired well, the first half was disgraceful and as one sided you will ever see.
+16 free kicks to Brisbane in the first half.

McAdam should have got suspended for 3 games. So should have Pickett and Franklin.

I am sure that was on the cards had the MRO handed down his decisions at the end of the round instead of a daily hand down of his views.

It is dumb to do it this way and expect consistency in decision making in such a grey area of decision making.

Frankly Christian was making it up as he went along with knee jerk decisions = Amateur hour decision making in a professional league.

whilst I see your point, it won’t result in a more consistent system, until the AFL allows set precedent to guide decisions.

this week is somewhat of an anomaly, I can’t remember another round where 3 similar incidents have caused so much attention. The normal cause is to compare to other similar events over the course of a season…. If only precedent mattered.

He was challenged on that and said all the free kicks were there. Funny how umpires who were that forensically precise in one direction developed glaucoma the other way.

Assuming all things are equal and one team is as likely to give away a free kick as the other, the chances of one team receiving 21 or more free kicks from a sample size of 25 is about 0.09%.

This is the statistic "elephant in the room" as far as I am concerned.

They come out and say "all the freekicks were there" ... Fine! Some of them were 50:50 ... Fine! I dont have a problem with that. But when the umpires dont call out the other side's 50:50 free-kicks, then that is inconsistent, crap umpiring! You mention that one example, but there were many more too .. There was Rioli getting tackled high, loses the ball, grabbed by a Lions player, tackled, and tackle slips high ... whistle blows. You see Rioli throw his hands up in despair.

Time and time again ... not paid.

But the official line ... "the frees were all there" ... Move on!
