The Bont is on for a quadruple double unless the bulldogs come to a stop in the 2nd half

13 kicks 6 hbs 7 marks 6 tackles

We didn’t have the players then and after this season we still don’t.
Imagine the likes of Jonas DBJ and McEntee running around the MCG today against either side hahaha.

We had the players to beat Footscray having beaten them just a few weeks earlier away from home. You’re deluded to think otherwise. That’s what makes the loss even harder to accept. I doubt we would have beaten Melbourne though. They likely would have flogged us.

Collingwood today had spuds like Murphy, McCreery, Cox and Noble playing, but they play with a system and belief that Stinkley is incapable of developing or delivering consistently.

It’s mostly coaching.

It should also be noted, when the Bulldogs came to town for last years PF they'd been playing sudden death football for weeks, were battered and bruised, and their best player was touch and go to even be passed fit to play.
Conversely, we were fit and well rested after a week off.
Yet here we are, with Freo standing their ground and wrestling back momentum where we folded like a deckchair in a cyclone.

We have too many cruisers in our team. Guys like Houston, Bonner, Burton, DBJ I just don’t see the next gear required in finals. That manic attack on the ball isn’t there. I would want to see them under a new coach to see if it can be extracted or a lost cause.

Wow...Craig McRae's presser.

Some of our guys were lying on the ground after the siren. That's loser stuff.

We might have lost but we're not losers.

He hates to lose.

We have Captain Capitulation as coach.

The flakey flanker types. Rendell beautifully called out about 12 of them at end of last year. Only 1 or 2 of them toughened up this year.

Has anyone with inside Goss heard what actually went down in the fortnight between the qualifying final and the prelim? And how that same attitude fed into the first 5 rounds of the year?

If not, that question needs to be asked at the AGM.
