Jack steele is dissapointing under Lyon

Dougal Howard just let the Brisbane player run past him to pressure Stocker's kick...

So all accountability is on the tackler to protect the tackled player out of a duty of car.

But Hipwood could release the ball and protect himself. Stoker didn’t put him on his hip and whip him around, nor did he pin both arms.

Hipwood contributed to that.

Just saying.

With 4 points per win, the AFL tournament is ripe for some kind of Bonus Point. This is my suggestion:

Na.

It should be just 2 points for a win, no tacky bonus point stuff. 1 draw, 2 win, Victorians though created the weird 4 point system. However to be fair in SA we over complicated the percentage system.

Dumped him on the side with arm pinned though, so not sure what Hipwood could do. Feels like there was a whip in normal speed, but just my opinion.

The problem is players are taught to bring to ground so that the ball can't be released as easy, and are getting better at it too. My crazy prediction is that in 5 seasons or less there'll be rules in place that somehow outlaw unnecessary takedown tackles of any sort. No idea how, but perhaps if you have both arms around, and especially if both players are more or less stationary. AFL is about to be hammered by lawsuits, so things might get messy.

Nah the SA percentage system makes more sense

Out of every 100 pts scored how many do you score (SA)

If the other team scores 100, how many points do you score (Vic)

4pts/win and % show a need for compensation for something.

It’s just bigger for size’s sake.
