They played that game a couple hundred years ago.Just make it a day of open violence with no rules. A massive battle royale. The strong who survive will inherit the country.
It’s almost impossible to fathom that over 77 million people voted for Trump.Yeah, it must be so hard being the majority with everything in their favour.
Anyone voting for Trump or Hanson is just falling for their bullshit. They literally ARE the reason for high costs etc.
And even less believable that 81m 'voted' for Biden in 2020 lolIt’s almost impossible to fathom that over 77 million people voted for Trump.
Agree with your point about housing and cost of living and the diversity stuff is a distraction. Both 'sides' push culture wars - almost like they're actually on the same team and benefit from the actual regular population squabbling amongst themselves so they can get on with the important business of funnelling wealth upwards.I believe people not only in Australia but world wide have had a gut full about being forced to think a certain way on issues by minority groups.
The things that need to be addressed like housing and the rising cost of living is getting pushed aside by diversity dribble.
Maybe not in my lifetime but sometime in the future I can see a Pauline Hanson type being PM.
Before you laugh and say it’s nonsense remember America just voted in Trump.
The nominally left parties are just shit now. They're just as much in the pockets of corporations as the right, and only pretend they'll do anything to change anything. Running on the platform of 'we're the nice ones' but then not doing anything to make peoples lives better has a very limited life span. It pisses people off more than the ones who happily wear their scumminess for all to seeHillary.. Mr. Cadaver.. Kamala = There's nothing surprising about people voting for Trump

The continent would probably be half Dutch and half French colonial heritage.Three cheers for Captain Cook.
Where would we be if it were not for the first fleet!
I've posted before that we should declare Australia a republic and celebrate Republic Day on the last Monday in January, replacing Australia Day as a public holiday. There shouldn't be an Australia Day until we murder the royals
The continent would probably be half Dutch and half French colonial heritage.
We are the only country in the world who's national day marks the start of colonisation, there are literally more countries without national days. For such an extreme case, sitting on the fence isn't exactly the middle ground. And before anyone pulls out the new poll that says 69% of Australians want Jan 26 to be our national day, that poll was commissioned by the Institute of Public Affairs, a heavily Liberal Party-aligned think tank and only had 1002 respondents. Why do footy clubs all feel the need to weigh in about Australia Day? Sitting on the fence and not saying anything at all would be far less divisive.

Sack Albo. You can change the date and it won’t make a Rats arse difference.
There will always be protests and marches.
The Voice referendum gave the majority of people a chance to be heard.
Albo backed the wrong horse now he’s on the way out.
