When your coach says "It doesn't really matter what you do in the last four or five games, the decision has already been made whether you stay on the list" then you get performances like today. Why would the players give a shit about putting in the extra effort if it isn't going to influence any decision about their future?

It's clear that the hunger is the main thing that is missing from this team at the moment. Team defense is all about desire rather than skill, and we just don't have it. We haven't had it all year.

I agree I thought what an odd thing to say. We needed players to use any incentive today but there again our whole season has been in second gear and Ken looks like he couldn't gaf

Effort , structure ,working for each other,lack of aggression,lazy kicks, terrible skills,1 quarter football and giving up , this is what has happened to our season this year , this is not why port adelaide are in the afl , whole club review and massive trading of fringe players are needed to get this club to compete for a flag, loved our defense but this year has given me great concerns about its future eg:2006-12, future is still there but pre season we must get structures ,skills and ability to work under pressure right and add hopefully polec,krak and dixon instead of shulz and we can compete again but jeez that's a lot of things that have to turn around in 6 months , but dogs did and so did we after 2012 , just pray the club makes the right decisions in the off season
