Out: Dawes (inj).
In: Wood
Dids i don't think hit a target for much of his possessions.. Disappointing.
Paine in for Dawes if req and Tarrant to go second ruck. He will try his heart out considering it really is do or die for him.
Jolly tweaked his groin at the end of the match. If he isn't fully fit he shouldn't play.
Out Dawes & Jolly
In Wood( to ruck almost all game) and maybe Sinclair?
There is no way we can beat Haw in the GF with out Jolly being fully fit and rested. Throw all caution to the wind this week and risk not making the GF. Better than going in with Jolly underdone and unable to jump and run like last year.
I realise I'll be on my own in this opinion.
He was probably BOG at half time. Wow, drop him after that you may as well drop 3/4 of the team. He broke open the play in the first half when the game was totally congested.
Was baffled he was subbed, only reasons I could think of;
1) Injury risk in this game
2) Gamble on us winning so the short week doesn't catch him out
3) More forward defense needed in the last
I am looking to head to Sydney this week for the game and just have a few questions regarding ticketing that I was hoping you guys could help me with.
I have 4 full AFL memberships with collingwood club support, how does ticketing work? (is there like an AFL reserve I can book tickets in? Or will I have to book through club members?) Also, what are the chances of not getting a ticket etc? (Also does anyone know the prices?)
Thanks in advance
If the injuries are severe enough to have them miss this will be the way to go with a view to sub off Wood after he rucks solo for the 1st 5 minutes of the last quarter. Jolly will have to battle for the remainder of the game.Depending how Dawes comes up, seems doubtful at this stage, but the only player that could come in is Wood. No way would a Ceglar or Witts be looked at to come into a final.
If Did's dosen't come up Sinclair would come in.
Ins: Wood, Sinclair
Out: Dawes, Didak (both inj) - hopefully not
Get some stats and check the height/ weight diff. Vs Mumford and Pike
Hey mate, I've been on with AFL membership on Twitter and email all morning, we get no discount rites next week, but we do get the option to buy tickets on Monday Morning at 9am as part of the club member allocation.
I'm guessing we just used our barcodes like usual on Ticetek (who I'm pretty sure look after ANZ stadium now);
Here's a price guide;

By the way I've been told the Collingwood area will be sections 120-123, as you can see on this map;

That's all I've got.
Have to bring in a 2nd ruck I think, Jolly would be a write off the following week and with Maxy out he wouldn't get much of a chop out.
Pretty certain Wood will be one of the ins as well as Sinclair who would hopefully provide a negating role on either Mattner or Shaw.
Personally I would like to see Wood play mostly in the ruck, whilst clearly not the most talented player on our list he is listed as 204cm/107kg and can at least provide a contest against Mumford and Pyke, meanwhile I'd like to see Jolly up forward as much as possible, with Trav down there it should really test the swans talls, Unfortunately when Wood needs a rest he doesn't seem to offer that much anywhere else on the ground but I think its a risk worth taking.
I hope you don't mind me asking but i heard a few weeks ago one of the commentators on one of the AFL panel shows mention that Jolly these days is having a hard time playing good games when the previous week or two he had a really hard game (as he needs a bit of a rest every 2 or 3 weeks). Is this accurate or is the commentator talking out of his arse?
