DLS V Bernies Some good ins for De La this week. Ground does not hold up very well so it will be horrible tomorrow. De La by 2 –3 goals in a slog.

OMs V Scotch OM's in a canter. Likewise the goat track will be in horrible nick

UB V Beauy Blues to keep the season alive with a comfortable win. Sharks don’t travel very well.

OX V Blacks Xavs by plenty. This will get ugly.

Roys V SBMT Beach boys by 10 goals plus

St Bedes/Mentone vs Old Melburnians - Should be an interesting match, Will be close for most of the match but with the home ground advantage St Bedes should pull away late to win by 24

Old Scotch vs Old Xaverians - Forget the ladder positions here, Scotch always get up for the Xavs game as shown earlier in the season.... Will be tight for a long way but Xavs should be strong enough to pull away to win by 24

Uni Blacks vs Uni Blues - The derby will be one sided after watching Blacks last week... Blues have the chance to improve their percentage and stay in touch with the floor. Blues by 100

St Bernards vs Fitzroy - Another easy win coming up for Bernards... they'll win by 100

due to bernards seniors shocking run with injuries, it has had a big effect on the snow dogs 19s outfit this week v xavs as numerous quality players have been moved up. hopefully the young pups can tough it out although it looks like it might be a tough day at the office

woo hoo! a memorable win for the pups out at stradboke

going into the game expecting just to give the game a contest and to come away with the chocolates had everyone up and about

makes it a bit more interesting at the top of the table!!

Fitroy came a lot closer than predicted. New coach must be working them hard. Couple of good players too in Doherty through the middle, leech down back solid as a rock and Scott up forward kicking 4 more.

The best U19s are playing seniors - eg Jake Williams from De La. Plenty of other regular A & B grade senior players who are still eligible for the unders.

It will be interesting who will play unders for the week. In regards to the best player Seb Gotch from DLS is a very good player and should play more senior footy.

I personally would have liked to see more under 19 premier players in the rep squad. It would illustrate to other competitions the standard of footy is high.

I've watched a bit of fitzroy lately. That Scott guy up forward is very promising. Probably stand out more in a better side where the delivery is better.

Fair go! Give him a break, everyone is entitled to a rough day and thats what it was for the Xavs last saturday. He also improved considerably in the second half as well

in regards to best players in the comp, there is a kid running round in the gold and blue by the name of Tom McManamy, he has had his injury problems this year, however, he hit top form yesterday with a stellar performance against the pups from essendon. What a win it was for the sharks, they wanted the footy more than the up and coming bernies side, however, i did notice that the st bernards players love to complain to the umpires.....anyone else noticed this?

yes a shocking day for bernards down at beaui.

the worst performance from this group in the past 2 seasons, a total lack of effort right across the park.

a reality check after possibility getting ahead of ourselves after beating xavs. in regards to the complaining to the umpires, yes i agree there are a certain few players that need to shut up and just play the game. the coach is aware of this and will be making this very clear as we get into the business end of the season

in regards to the fitzroy vs xavs match... the game was called off 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter... wouldn't be surprised if more was to come of it....

The fitzroy game was called off due to fitzroy not having enough players. They started the game with 17 then two injuries before half time left them with 15. Couple of minutes into the 3rd quarter a player was red carded for swearing and another was only playing at the start of the day to make up the 17. To be honest there was no use continuing, neither side would of got anything out of it and it wasn't as if it was a season defying game for xavs

this is embarrassing for the VAFA. this comp is meant to be one of the best in the state and the fact that teams like fitzroy and uni blacks are in premier is a joke

St Kevins, Haileybury and probably all most all other teams in section 2 and even section 3 maybe would be far more competitive than these two teams and making the 'premier' division as strong as it can be is what the VAFA should be doing. Everyone would benefit in having a far more stronger and even competition
