Righto - this is it, then I'm done with your garbage. Sit down and read it slowly.
Your post #128 was a week ago. November 21st there was a post made by me alluding to players heading to Hastings on another thread.
We wanted a decision from Robbins before Ormond's applications closed. Not our own.
BB wouldn't know who the applicants were.
Direct us to the post where I've suggested I wasn't happy with the selection process.

Try as you might to involve me any further, but rest assured I will no longer bother with your responses. As is the norm, it's all fodder.

1) sorry UM, I never venture to the Nepean League site :thumbsdown:so wouldn't have seen that which only mention ONE VFL player, no name attached, but Im sure fellow posters on here would have known if I had seen it:). Oh, and again your not denying the other 2 which Im sure have not been posted anywhere, unless the Upper Titibong League Thread

2) Wow, so your decision making process was directed by Ormonds application closing date, strange. Also that you would request applications of your own in the mean time:thumbsdown:

3) well we had the bet, I gave him the names and he reneg so your probably right he didn't know- but I did know 2 applicants so your wrong there.

4) If I find it Ill post it.

Realise your not going to follow up so all the best for the year and make sure you pop back sometime for a chat.:thumbsu::)

Cheers

Sounds familiar, bedford. At the time he was a highly sort after individual. Not so much now, one would have thought. Hindsight is a beautiful thing.
Who knows wether he would have got the job over Oats, but he should have told Hampton to wait and if they didn't bad luck. Maybe for Robbo's sake it might have been better if he'd stayed at Ormond.

Who cares about HR and Robbins, both gone from B!!!

This is A Section related but no-one ever posts on that board, so Ill post here, Yze brothers to Old Carey, Bang Bang!!

BS - I assume you mean one of these to be Adam? He has been appointed as an assistant coach and match day runner at Hawthorn so not sure how that will work. (see link below – hope it works otherwise take my word for it) There is another brother who has kicked truckloads of goals over the years in the burbs and the bush so he would be handy.

And agree – little happening on A section board so perhaps someone from the OC can confirm the above on that board. It is well known that the Carey Prez has very strong links to the Hawthorn and Box Hill so this would not surprise. Good to see Old Carey looking at developing their youth. ;)

Only One Bang BS, just Damien to OC.

Adam to Hawthorn as FWD coach and their runner.

Cheers

How old would Damien be now, he'd be close to pushing 35 wouldn't he? Could well be older.....he did still kick about 90 goals last year in the Goulburn Valley.....
I'm shocked he is playing in the Ammo's as you would struggle to find a season where he didn't play for money - football or cricket.

Looking forward to see who OM's have recruited, they never fail to pump themselves up and then have a below average season.

Spoke with Browny the other day, said that they will be extremely young having lost a lot of their senior players and are relying heavily on the kids coming out of the school.

He is very good at developing kids and giving them the opportunity to improve their footy.

No doubt they will have a few recruits, but the emphasis will be on youth.

It's only a part-time role Rooster. No doubt game day clashes will be a problem but if Harves could find his way clear to front for the games he did at Haileybury when he was full-time at the Blues you'd think Adam will be able to play more than he misses IF it's true.

Fair enough but the match day runner job might be a bit of an impediment to him playing many games. As an outsider you have to wonder the value of irregular games from a bloke in his mid 30s who might play 1 year at the club against playing a young bloke each week. A really good club Carey but an observation well made last year was that their top 6 were as good as any in the comp but their depth was horrible. Reserves were very ordinary, they had no 3rds (well they did but they chose to play in North Clubbies) and their 19s were not in the top division. You might think a priority would be developing young blokes as 5 –10 year players for the club. Perhaps they are also doing that and the Yze brothers are just a bit of icing. Could be scary if Peterson and Yze line up in the same team.

From club sources. "all last years recruits have gone". Very tough for the new coach.

Last I knew,

Old Carey
Hapmton Rovers
Ormond

were not in B Grade!!

Actually Max they were in B grade, just not at the moment. The conversation just sort of evolved but I take you point. Hopefully someone from Old Carey can comment on the Yze rumour on the A section board and we can move along.

Maxxy, this is where the meeting Of the VAFA gurus are, ease off!
I'll take either Yze any time, even if for one match...

So true BS, by consolidating the 'manure' onto one thread we are in fact reducing our Carbon Footprint. I believe the Chief is putting in for some carbon credits as we speak.

Cheers

Apparently Paul McCormack got his marching orders from old brighton on Friday.

Can any one confirm this?

Very good man - would be a shame if its true....

Way off the mark you say.
Oakleigh Dragons are now Oakleigh Devils and will be based at Dandy rd. and will wear Districts jumpoers with a Devil in the middle.

Any more news on this one Bedford? While I’m not involved and don’t necessarily dispute what you are saying the people I know who are involved at the club still insist that nothing has changed. Their rego day is at Scammell, which would seem strange if they have taken up residence with Oakleigh Districts.

Are Ajax seniors moving to Princess Park in Caulfield?
I believe the council have given pre approval for Caulfield in the SFL to move to Koornang park, leaving Princess park free on a Saturday.
