Think you’ve misunderstood me. Not having a crack at Ormond, I agree they battled hard. I was defending Monash after your mates claim that they’re soft.
Fair enough , you were far too good , but we never gave up and were still a rough chance at the last break , i was just defending my club

Hopefully the Ormond v Hampton Rovers game will be broadcast live on RSN Carnival radio this Friday night, because the weather forecast isn't all that promising, with a 90% chance of rain.

Maybe the radio team will stay away as well. 🤷‍♂️

Down at Ruthvan reserve yesterday to watch Preston vs Parkdale. Both teams cracked in real hard in tough conditions and Parkdale getting up late after trailing all day. The Preston boys looked gutted after trying their heart out all day and getting beaten at the end

The Parkdale boys had too much run in their legs at 3/4 time, Preston were spent and only 3 goals in front. Tough day at the office for everyone. The young Vultures average age of 22 are progressing well, Preston will sneak a couple of wins on the run home.

Under normal circumstances, this time now would signal the start of the representative season, where the VAFA would pick teams from within its various sections to play against state or representatives sides.

Unfortunately, due to COVID, that is not going to happen-not for a while yet.

But let's say the VAFA has arranged a interstate game against South Australia in Melbourne involving 3 levels-Under 19, Division 1-4 and Premier-Premier C.

Based on club form so far this season in Premier C, who would get picked to represent the VAFA against SA?

No one cares these days about rep footy . O&Ms played GV last week and players were just not interested .

Not sure on that one Jase..
But perhaps you can post a best ever Hampton Rovers team to play against the SANFL best team..obviously they can’t play but would be good to see the teams.

Suckling.

No one else.

It’d be 14 - 16 from Premier, 5 - 7 from Premier B and Suckling.

That is all.

Two extremely young sides going at it, would say quite clearly the youngest two teams. Parkdale were fantastic in the third quarter to keep Preston to 3 goals with the strong wind

We don't hear too much of these two sides from supporters/inside members on this forum, who looked good from both sides?
