Listening to the Nicks interview with Blight and Wildy last night. One comment was concerning when they were talking about ROB and whether he would play “as a leader of our club he deserves to”

That’s a horrendous philosophy and one of the reasons ROB shouldn’t have been in the leadership group.
Maybe he will step up.. not just as a leader, he’s going to have to keep up with the rest of the team stepping up😉

It seems for a long time now that the club doesn't put enough emphasis on game day performances when selecting the leadership group.
After last years performance, there is no way ROB should be in there.
I would have Laird in there before him, just because he performs consistently when it matters most.
Why don't we show recognition with leading by actions, instead of contributing verbally in meeting and training
That's what I liked about the somewhat surprise by Walsh selecting Tex as captain

I think it's a rather safe assumption Laird isn't there because he doesn't want it. Not we've never considered it.

After all, if it was an ambition, Laird would have probably seeked a trade by now, seeing we've snubbed him for 5-6 years.

Yeah, Lairdy is a laid back guy. On SEN he had three attempts at pronouncing Michalanney..😁

Even within the media, we still live rent free in their heads.

Typical Port acting like victims.
90% of the media is Port run, yet they cry endlessly about 5AA - conveniently ignoring the MANY occasions that Rowe had to wind back his criticisms of Port after being spoken to by the boss.
They are like Republicans - accuse everyone of doing exactly what they are doing.

I turned off 5AA many years ago and have no interest in going back.

They can change their name to Adelaide Port Power since they don't seem to mind changing their identify.
Aardvark Port Power...

Yeah.. i didnt think he did much that stood out in the internal trial or freo game that said “pick me in front of all these others”..

In fact I thought his internal trial performance wasnt great.. thought chayce jones showed more in that than milera did.. jones was one of the best out there that day tho.
I think Chayce has been a bit stiff this preseason.
