Not really a question but for apparently our Twitter handle for the finals is #playYourRole... for all the NFL fans on this page it seems like Clarko is channeling Bill Bellichik with Do your job?
Bellichik's is do your job and don't tell anyone what you did so we don't get suspended

should have been in the random statistics thread...;)

i mean, there's not even a question involved here...:D (other than the rhetorical "How awesome are we?")

How is disposal efficiency worked out? I assume it's if you have, for example, 2 disposals and 1 goes to a team mate and 1 doesn't you would have a 50% disposal efficiency. What if you team mate misreads the flight of the ball and doesn't get it or drops the mark etc.? What if you kick it to space to gain ground is that considered efficient?

Also what is considered an acceptable level of disposal efficiency?

He has the "how best to alienate & ostracise" component of his role down patt so he should enjoy it.

I think for kicking efficiency it's any kick under 40m is considered a "short kick" and must be retained by your team to be considered efficient - no kicking into space. Kicks longer than 40m are considered "long kicks" and as long as the result isn't a direct turnover (ie. an intercept mark or not contested by your team) it is considered efficient - if it's spoiled over the line it's still efficient. Hence players like Birchall, Suckling, Smith and Hill can often get higher disposal/kicking efficiencies when they play a game where they often kick it long. Just as long as they've kicked it to a contest and it isn't marked by the opposition.

Disposal efficiency would likely just combine handball efficiency stats but I'm not sure what the definition of those are. Possibly just 'does the handball reach a teammate?' regardless of distance. Perhaps the teammate has to retain the handball and not fumble it which would eliminate poor handballs but would also penalise a player for making a good handball to a poor teammate who fumbles it.

Waiting in the lounge because his flight has been cancelled??
ha ha very funny.....you know the ads I'm talking about though....??? Wheres Clarko walking through the Virgin check in lounge... and onto his bed on the flight?

Clarko's too busy to be doing ads... more important things to do, like winning premierships

Probably because that leaves us without a ruckman.
Speaking of ruckman.....they are going to need to be on for this week.

Nic Nat does give his on-ballers first use of the footy pretty regularly.

We need to get this manning up thing a bit tighter too!

A game at the G is going to be so different to a game at Slobiaco oval.
