The King brothers? To me they are the epitome of great potential without having delivered anything of note. And they have 2 years on Logan. Jye Amiss does look good…hopefully they’re so happy with him they don’t bother with Logan.

Ultimately we opted to give him the last spot on the list ahead of players like Rankin and Hugo HK…

both these guys are having good seasons at Port and Sandy. I note with Heeney playing midfield we have only one other specialist medium forward - Hayward.

Reid if fit gives us a def/fwd/ruck we know can compete at AFL level.

Mighty big iF. Has mainly defended as a loose man. He is an ordinary forward like a Hipwood or Schache and not as good in the ruck as McLean.

But I do agree with others that his performance was probably better than Corey.

Unlikely, 1 touch after half time and that was late when Nick Vlaustin showed him little regard.

If we needlessly throw money at any player to keep him it should be Gulden.

The media is awful.

I saw a recent power rating that had the Giants in the contenders category and Sydney in the unconvincing category. Mind you, two of the Giants wins are against North and West Coast. The other team is Collingwood, who we also defeated.

Recency bias is a thing and it affects posters here, too. It was a frustrating loss but if that’s one of our worst games of the year then we are seriously contenders.

I still see us being 6-1 in a month.

Would you want Hayward kicking a set shot from 40m for the win after the siren in a GF?

Showed zero composure and little effort yesterday and entirely wasted his few disposals. Cannot perform under pressure, speaking of pressure he applied SfA.

Will kick 2 or 3 in a minimal low pressure game which is possible against the Eagles. This will cover the cracks and his various fan folk will say “see Horrie ya cranky, ignorant old goat”.

He is the player most likely to disappear in a high pressure game inc shanking a 35m set shot out on the full. He is adept at flying for marks and spoiling our tall actual marking targets. I still find it bizarre Longmire bought the excuse Hayward misses goals because he is tired.

Please let him spend a month in the twos learning how to be a backman.

Of course it won’t happen.

We can't get rid of Hayward because then we would never see you posting again.
