Ratts cleared up at least some of the rumours...

Bradshaw passed the fitness test.

McLean brought in to help Judd and Hadley.

Carlton were always looking at two options when dealing with Brisbane. Bradshaw and Rischetelli or the youth option which we got.

Believes the way the trade panned out Carlton effectively got McLean and Henderson for Fev.

Ratts believes the future looks bright.....and I agree.

Also some other points.

* yarran will play alot more footy this year
* See's Henderson as a forward not a backman. Said he's a natural forward who was forced to play back because of brown and bradshaw
* mentioned kreuzer being played as a forward more
* Carlton never looked at Luke Ball as we saw him as a similar type to McLean
*50% of our forward 50 entries were to Fev
* will be exciting to see more unpredictability in the forward line

Amen

I thought Sticks made a total tool of himself at the press conference.

He appeared to have not thought out anything in relation to the trade.

Gutless performance especially when compared to Voss and Fevola's 5pm message.

I cannot see where 15-20 goals a game will come from now.

And.....do NOT embarrass yourself and say Fisher or Cloke.

So you're saying you can't see how we are going to cover the loss of Fev or are you saying you have no imagination?

What about Henderson, Kruezer, Yazza, betts, maybe Waite, Judd because Mclean and Hadley are doing the grunt work, Murph, maybe Walker, Gibbs for a few.

None of these guys will kick 70-80 goals on their own next year but if they kick their share they won't have to.
