Either we have been copying the"Cameron should get back to F50 "opinion of Josh Jenkins, or vice versa. I think the latter.

But SEN have seen fit to make an article out of it...... FWIW...... which is jackshit to Scott

TBF with Hawkins looking less dangerous than he has previously, and Neale not at the level yet, I agree with them.

I'd take a second round pick in the draft for Cam Guthrie if anyone would be so kind.
a 2nd rounder isn't worth throwing out a much loved premiership player.
Some things are more important than a pick. I'd let him retire a cat, with his brother.

Does anyone know how far away Cam Guthrie is from playing? I guess he comes back via the VFL. We can't afford to have him blow up again first game back.

No one is giving us a r2 for him off his injuries anyway.

It was definitely worth the experiment but it's plain for anyone to see that we're much better off having our most potent goal kicker playing close to goal. The stat - 13 of his 21 touches (62%) were from the defensive half - is damning. I am a big CS fan, but this has been a coaching failure. Get your best ball users using the ball in the forward half.

I guess I was trying to say the Jenkins article came well after a lot of our board called this positioning out. Roaming Jezza was a thing, as you say it's fine while it worked and marks were taken. But with a drop in form it's a dangerous area prone to turnover.
Even if it started with him helping out the defensive midfield, and kicks are good when he's on, but thin tall frame seems to get beaten around the ball. Scott is sometimes too patient- I don't think Ollie is much better in that same role- which he did push the wing on occasion, and he's not too defensive either. Don't know the answer but it might be obvious when Cameron stayed a HF and it worked for half a quarter.

Ha. I already have.

AND the bottle is opened.

Hello Kitty?
Happy New Year GIF

I've dramatically reduced my consumption of Bubbles/Wine/all alcohol + only have a few bottles on footy days, now. By next Friday, it will be 12 days. Not experiencing any benefits yet ??? I really miss the happy days of Covid day drinking 😜

On Hawkins playing on next year, if it was to support Neale and prevent him from hitting the wall by giving him a spell one week in three- like the Stanley/Conway situation right now- I'd be 100% on board with that.

I don't think Neale's body is in the category where it needs protection at this point. We just need to see what he looks like when not competing for space with 3 other marking targets on the narrowest ground in the league
