I know where you going with this but we defended better from clearance and also when we win them we are doing high damage -- hawthorn were a dominant side without clearance and contested possesions but ball movement and defensive structure is key .. you trying to stop the anti barker warriors early 😉😉😂😂

Not at all, forget Barker he is gone.

I think we are setting up better/more defensively, but it's gone a little to far the other way.

Happier that there has been a better focus defensively and wanting to share the pill

I know it was a Freo home game but every time they played a riff of AC/DC Thunderstruck after every Dockers goal at the G really started to grind my gears.

Please don't ever do anything like that Carlton

Carlton weren't in control of the PA

Level at 3 qtr time, Dockers top 8 chance, kept them to 1 point
It's what happens when you have the midfield applying defensive pressure. Couldn't keep it up for the whole game unfortunately... but it happened when we needed it!

Jones & SPS Casboult were the only disappointments.
I was and still probably am against Levi being brought back in, but if he wasn’t playing in that last quarter, we lose. Jones had 2 absolute shockers that gave up goals, but was otherwise excellent. I often feel I’m too negative about this team I love, but you are on a whole other level.

A game which showed definite improvement ( again) in Dow, Kennedy, Stocker ( what a mongrel we have in this bloke) and great promise ( again) in TDK - with a much needed couple of good goals from SOJ - well done to Jack reducing the size of the monkey on his back. Clearances were a bit Jeckyl and Hyde - especially in 3rd quarter where Freo spent a lot of their gas.

In teh end it took some magic moments from Eddie to stall Freo's momentuma dn get it going our way a coupel of ,missed shots from Martin in past games may have turned heads down - but not to be as players found an extra effort all over the park including Levi with a couple of important marks and some levelling of ruck contests , Stocker going harder and harder and composed in defense, a miraculous one handed marking save from Weiters, and then some really gutsy one on one wins in teh center of the ground feturing a number of players - topped off by a fantastic one two goal from Walsh to Kennedy to Walsh and goal.

wowee - great win and one to savour - shoudl give confidence to the players and some wind in the sails for the games ahead.

Vey nice.

The SOS list has taken a while, but it's starting to look like bearing fruit. Can't fault some of his decisions. The Stocker trade was inspired.

When given the choice of midfielders, SOS always went for the less physically developed 'upside' players. Crazy brave in the short term, but he'll look like a genius if these guys start reaching their projected levels

I like Teague putting Kennedy in the middle, might not get it, but he puts a solid hit/tackle/body on and the makes ‘em earn it.

Him & Stocker look to be working well together & it gives us a bit of nasty.
Plow as well is all too willing to fly the flag when needed.

Mate he nearly put Fyfe under the turf with an absolute belter at a centre square ball up in the first. Was the best tackle of the night

Make em earn there disposal's Stig.
Make em earn em..

O’Shea was hands down playing as the opposition’s 23rd player every time he played a senior game. Horrible viewing.
Now I am going to have nightmares when I finally get to sleep.

Not yet .. today was a nice yo yo -- we won the arm wrestle - last week we looked to stop a little .. young TDK hard for him as the game goes on his leap will diminish so good to have cas bully Darcy the last 10.. I prefer this today than the constant rebound from a clearance won but opposition score ..let's see how it grows over the next few weeks ..
