Am I the only one thinking Brodie needs to come in and get some game time? It's not like Port have thin stocks as far as inside mids are concerend but they still find space to play SPP each week. Need to get games into him not only to help develop him at AFL level, but to help keep him around when his contract is up. A 'ready made' pick 9 Inside midfielder should not be sitting in the NEAFL for 2 seasons.
OK, who should he replace from inside midfielders (the only position he can play right now) - Swallow, Lyons, Miller, Fiorini? All were outstanding against North.

Personally, I'd rest Rischitelli and move Brodie in. Shift Weller to HBF and move Fiorini onto the wing. Brodie showed last year he's not useless resting forward. Rotate him between on ball and deep forward with any of the 4 you mentioned.

Yes, that's a good option, but would miss a cool, experience head in Rischitelli. He was organising troops nicely from HB. Brodie will get opportunity soon. I bet we will need to rotate some guys during first 9 games or injuries come (hope not).

Good to see Sam Day get through the game on the weekend and with the conditions not really a game for key forwards and although not a home game for his 100th hopefully he can celebrate with a win
When Wright is back in do you guys see the structure as 2 key backs 2 key forwards and a ruck with Day floating depending on the game situation?
And could Young play as a third tall type or he needs to work that into his game with marking and leading patterns?
Good luck on Saturday although I should be cheering the Giants reserves:p

My FBI profiler app tells me thst Suns would be 28-32. Educated. Clean freak. Probably drives a Commodore or Falcon Ute He’s a glutton for punishment with his sports teams etc. and doesn’t like conflict!

Interestingly, Blues have on their website McKay as emergency while on AFL site it's TDK. I bet one of them will replace Kreuzer.

Im starting the rumour we are playing youth.
Rosa was top 5 player last week.

And to keep Barlow out again.

Its either that... or Barlow hooked up with Dews wife.
Sorry, but Hall is fast, can play inside/outside, breaks lines, scores. And under Dew he seems to even enjoy tackling and playing defence. I am afraid even Brodie is ahead of Barlow as inside midfielder.

Absolutely no way Brodie is ahead of Barlow in an actual match output value comparison. if the aim is to play a (currently) less capable player that you want to give experience sure pick Brodie, but don't kid yourself that you'd be doing it on merit.

May be you kid yourself. I did not spend time with them during preseason, did you? But would trust Dew.
