Nicholls an emergency
Is Witts in some doubt?
Doubt it Boddsy,

However a late injury/whatever, who else in the team would ruck the game. they have to list emergencies, regardless of how remote the player is to actually play. wouldnt want to list 4 smalls and have a big get injured...
I bet TNic doesnt get on the plane

My FBI profiler app tells me thst Suns would be 28-32. Educated. Clean freak. Probably drives a Commodore or Falcon Ute He’s a glutton for punishment with his sports teams etc. and doesn’t like conflict!

You got the age dead on. I am in that bracket :D
Uneducated
Not a clean freak
Nah, im a simpleton with the vehicles I drive
Yes, you know my sports teams :p
I don't like conflict. Were you not around for the Josh Caddy incident? lol

A few here no me personally in some degree. Pretty honest? Big Red Machine LynchysMob Experimental Ben Drever Weller Over Dew

He seems too consistent and calm to be in that age range
He’s unflappable

See above ;):moustache:

Was the Caddy incident the “Peaheart” incident that received media attention?

Well things just got interesting, looks like we won't have big Krooz and Matt Kennedy for this one. Bloody even money this game. Nervous as hell now :( Come on ....... home state advantage ........ and shorter turn around time ....

That's all I got!

One more thing, how did Nicky G go for you guys last week? Little bit sad we delisted him.

Nicky was great, he did some ballistic tackles, 13 total. I can't see Kreuzer come up either. So who will ruck - Casboult? Is Weitering going forward? I can't believe you got 5 defenders 190+. Who will defend small forwards - Ainsworth, Macpherson, Sexton, Holman will spend time there too.

Thanks for the feedback guys, never really thought he got a fair chance at CFC. And to be honest I thought/think he is a much better prospect than Nick Graham, yet we kept him.

Yeah saw his extended stats, his DE is usually better than the 56% listed but anyone could be forgiven when trying to play AFL in a water polo pool!

The man is a tackle monster. One thing, you won't die wondering with Nicky, he leaves everything out on the ground.

Well as supporters this week's selections pretty much confirms our suspicions
Matt Rosa is borderline but can play a role when needed and conditions suit
Micky B will have to earn a game and with the development of our running mids will have to fight for a place
I don't think there's any doubt he's better than a few selected this week but the selectors obviously feel there are guys on an upward trajectory and Barlow is at best plateaued with development
Some of the younger guys will need a rest at some point and to have player like Barlow ready to go in the NEAFL is a luxury we haven't had recently
Brodie is being managed pure and simple- likely it's his "turn"
No surprises at selection therefore for mine

At this stage we want to win as many games as possible. So I believe this is the best team considering conditions, opposition. While I love Barlow there was a reason why he was delisted. He's very very slow. Big handicap in today's game. I feel like people have trouble to separate Barlow as a fantastic person, character from his football skills. Just curious, who are a few selected worse than Barlow and we are talking about inside midfielders.

I don't think at this stage of their development Macpherson,Spencer, Brodie, Bowes are better players than Micky B
And I'd back him out of a back pocket over KK too

Sorry, but I disagree. Macpherson - no way Barlow can play pressure small forward role, not even close with his speed. KK - he is a elite runner, great interceptor, great kick, just needs more games to build confidence, Barlow can't play HB. Bowes - did you watch him against North? One of the best. Barlow can't play on the flank. Spencer - completely different role. Spencer would replace defender. Brodie - may be the only one I would consider if Brodie still does no have a tank or does not know how to play forward or outside yet. If on the same level future has a go. Barlow will get opportunity when young guys need a rest or we get injuries but it will be only I believe as inside midfielder with spells in forward.

You need to listen to my coaching rants on how it's consistency of performance that makes Hall of Famers, not occasional great efforts
When Bowes et al have payed 25 games in a row and been in the top 11 players for all of them they will be starting to achieve to the same level Barlow has
You are judging them on some JLT giggle play and a round one swim in Cairns and disregarding Barlow's pedigree
As is the norm in internet debate you've merely returned to my original premise which is:
The selectors see more potential in the current players and until they fall over Micky B will have to continue his efforts to be next in-line

Brodie to me is interesting. I think everyone agrees, he has bucket-loads of inside talent but hasn't been able to get into our team on a regular basis. For whatever reason, I'm not sure. Tank maybe?

The worry is that in the name of development, a Victorian player with real talent my grow disenchanted with the club quickly while running around in the NEAFL. In his own head he might think he's better than that — and he might be right. There's a real balance here to try and get right, and if there's a way to get him into our team regularly then it has to happen soon. Everything Dew has done/said so far has been stellar, but I can't seem to shake the idea that he came from a system that pushed Tom Mitchell away in the name of development.

No, you named players who play different positions than Barlow. Swallow, Lyons, Fiorini, Miller are inside midfielders and all are better than Barlow.
